BOOK REVIEW: Twisted (Blood & Roses #5) by Callie Hart

How many times can a person fall down and still get back up? How many times can things go wrong before you just give up?

I’ve lost everything. My home, my job, my purpose in life—everything has been turned upside down. But while life hasn’t exactly turned out the way I would have liked it to, I wouldn’t change a thing. If things were different, I wouldn’t have Lacey. I wouldn’t have Michael.

But most importantly, I wouldn’t have him.

I’ve realized what I feel. He knew it before I did. Only one question remains:

Is he capable of feeling the same way?

Secrets are a prison, and I have been behind bars for years. Sloane Romera has been turning keys in all of my locks, throwing light on corners of my mind that I thought would forever be shrouded in darkness. Or at least I had hoped would be.

I have done so many wrongs in this life, and yet this woman has forgiven me. She’s done something I never thought possible—she has learned to understand me, and she hasn’t run. She’s amazed me. She’s saved me. She’s fallen in love with me.

If it’s within my power, I’m about to do the same for her.

Book 5 in the Blood & Rose’s series definitely lives up to its name Twisted! There are so many twists and turns in the plot that it makes it IMPOSSIBLE to put down! Twisted is action packed, adrenaline pumping and leaves you on the edge of your seat!

We get to see bits and pieces of Zeth’s past through his memories, which gives a light into why his mind works the way it does. We do not learn all the details of his past in this book, but we are a little closer to figuring out the connection between his past and all the characters. “How the hell are all these people interlinked?” (Micheal, Zeth’s right hand man). How indeed? How are all these characters some how linked together? And what does it all mean?

If it’s not Charlie they’re having issues with, it’s Julio or the DEA chick. Everywhere they go, someone is at their backs trying to kill them.

And of course, there is EPIC sex scenes ;) Zeth sure knows what he is doing…tehe:
I want to see her break apart. I want to study the look on her f*cking face as I make her come; I want to commit every last second of the moment to memory as her body shakes and writhes against me. “I’m going to f*ck you now. I’m going to slide my d*ck inside you, and I’m going to make you scream my name. Are you ready?” (Zeth)

Zeth is beginning to realize that he is not only claiming Sloane, but Sloane is claiming him in return. “No women has ever done that before. No women has ever made me want to claim her. And no women has ever claimed me in such a way in return.” Can he handle all these revelations and is he willing to be claimed?

Sloane already knows her true feelings for Zeth. Now she just needs to get him to realize his feelings for her. “I’m not scared of you, Sloane.” She gives me a sad look. It’s the kind of look that can make a man feel two inches fall. “Yes, you are,” she says. “Of course you are. You’re terrified.”(Zeth and Sloane)

Saying I’m eager to read book 6 is an understatement!! I am also really scared to read it. Not because I’m worried it’ll be disappointing, more so because I don’t want their story to end! :’( The Blood & Rose’s series has easily become my favorite when it comes to plot development! This series is in a class of its own!

Callie Hart is the author of the Deviant series. The first book, Deviant, titled after the series, was released in February 2014, and the following instalment, Fracture, is set to be released  on April 7 2014.

Callie has experienced many changes throughout her life, and gone through many ups and downs that have all worked towards shaping and moulding her into the person she is today: fun loving, active, social, and hard working. The only thing that has remained a constant throughout her life is writing. Creating characters who will tear your conscience in two is a favorite pastime of Callie’s. There are few real saints and sinners in her books; more often, the denizens of her stories are all very human. Broken, flawed, and always with the potential for redemption.

Despite the subject matter being markedly hot and heavy in comparison to the stories she wrote in elementary school, there will always be an element of fairytale to her work.

BOOK REVIEW: Fallen (Blood & Roses #4) by Callie Hart

For over two years, Sloane Romera has pinned everything on finding Alexis. Life was going to get better. Easier. Happier. The nightmare of having a missing sister was supposed to end, and everything was supposed to go back to normal.

However, now that she’s found her sister, Sloane is discovering that life has a way of ridiculing what we expect of it.

Nothing is easier.

And ‘normal’ is falling for a man who might never be able to feel the same way.

A lengthy history of breaking things with his fists has given Zeth Mayfair a fairly good idea of how to get his own way. But when his goal, the one, single woman on the face of the planet that he’s truly ever wanted, can only be obtained by fixing things instead of destroying them, how can he adjust a lifetime of violence in order to make her his once and for all? And how can he make sure that she is safe?

The first part is going to take time. But the second part…

The second part is easy.

He must kill Charlie Holsan

Fallen is the 4th book in the Blood & Rose’s series and starts off where Burn left us, but of course the plot thickens!

They’ve found Alexis and she’s very much safe and alive. But where she’s been this whole time was a huge surprise to say the least. We have so much to figure out about Alexis and her motives behind her “disappearance”. Was she really kidnapped?

Charlie Holsan, Zeth’s ex-boss, appears to have not given up on killing Zeth. He’s become a constant “thorn in Zeth’s side”, figuritively. So as a result, Zeth has to take extra precautions in protecting Sloane and Lacey. “Yeah, so I was gonna broach the subject of Sloane coming to stay at the warehouse for a little while, just until things with Charlie resolved themselves one way or another.” (Zeth) Will Sloane willingly go to stay at the warehouse or will she be her stubborn self?

Sloane and Zeth’s relationship is developing further, but there are still kinks to be worked out. Sloane is confused as to what she really wants: “I’ve wanted my old life. The whole thing. All of it. The boring, mundane routine of going to work, eating, sleeping, going back to work. I can hardly lie to myself; of course I know that I’m developing ridiculously strong feelings for a man who can surely be nothing but bad news for me…” (Sloane). She is left wondering how does she fit into his world? She’s realizing she’s falling for this “reckless, dangerous, terrifying soul” and she doesn’t know how to handle it.

Zeth on the other hand, is trying his hardest to not fall for Sloane. But yet, can’t resist her. “Because the moment I saw you…I haven’t stood a chance.” (Zeth). He truly believes Sloane is too good for him. “I’ve nearly died a couple times now, but I’ve never experienced this kind of fucked-up emotion before now.

Sloane is also realizing that her and Zeth are very much alike. “The thing that disturbs you the most…is that you like it, too.” You’re just like me, Sloane. You’re just like me.” (Zeth). Can she admit this to herself though?

I didn’t think I could love Zeth anymore, but I quite frankly have Fallen in love with him even more!! “For you, I can switch characters. I will be Prince Charming for a night.” (Zeth).

On the discussion of sex…one word: PHENOMENAL!! Callie Hart knows how to write sex scenes like no other! This book is not overly loaded with sex like some books, but when there is a sex scene…WHOA…IT.IS.INTENSE!

I love how this series keeps adding more and more depth without making the storyline “messy” and confusing. Callie Hart does an amazing job of bringing more twists and turns while developing the story further and linking the characters one way or another.

Rock Taylor always had a plan. Through football, he would rise above the life he was born into. When Rock finally does get Trisha in his truck, it isn’t for a date. It’s because he picks her up on the side of the road, beaten and bruised and walking to the local hospital. Before Rock knows it, football is no longer his life. Trisha Corbin is. And he’ll do anything to save her. And keep her.

UtE - Teaser 1

Once we had both boys tucked in we cut the lights and closed the door.

Rock stood there with his hand on the doorknob once we were in the hallway. “That never gets old,” he said in a whisper.

He didn’t have to explain. I understood. Two years ago we were told that we could never have children. It was something we both wanted. A family. We wanted to create a world we ourselves were cheated of.  We wanted to have a house full of love and safety. One we could give to kids the way we had always dreamed of having ourselves.

We had that now. We were not only able to have a family filled with all those things we longed for, but we were able to give it to kids that were living a life of hell much like the one we had been raised in. They were here now, though, and they were ours. And never again would they suffer or fear or go hungry. We would love them always.

“We’re very blessed,” I agreed quietly.

Rock smiled at me. “Yeah, we are.”

BLOG TOUR & BOOK REVIEW: A Week in New York (The Empire State Trilogy #1) by Louise Bay

A Week in New York_final

This book was so good. The writing was great, and the duo POV totally believable. This is the kind of book I love to read – a well developed and interesting plot with amazing sex.

Anna is an amazing girl, funny, sexy and very sassy, but unfortunately her luck with men wasn’t great.  Ethan on the other hand is a player, handsome of course, as well as knowing all the tricks of bringing a woman pleasure. I loved how they met. It’s funny how in some books I’d have found it very unlikely and annoying, but in this book, it was perfect. It fitted the plot perfectly. A one night stand is exactly what Anna needs and exactly what Ethan is looking for. They had instant chemistry, and the sex was way too hot. I loved how they broke all their rules and allowed themselves to take and experience they both wanted and needed.  Even if It was only for a week.

The secondary characters were all great. Even though Ethan and Anna refused to accept it – their friends, Leah, Andrew and Mandy saw the potential of a great relationship there. Even if it was only for a week.

Although it isn’t a cliffhanger, this isn’t the end of the story. I can’t wait to read the second book of the trilogy. I’m so ready for more than a week.

Favorite quotes:

“She lived 3,000 miles away and we’d known each other a week. She’d seen parts of me I’d never shown anyone, but we’d still known each other for a week. And I’d never had a relationship with a woman that lasted more than four hours. A week was a lifetime in my world, but in reality it was still a week.”

“No promises, no ambiguity, no bullshit.”

I write sexy, romantic, contemporary novels – the kind I like to read!

Ruined by romantic mini-series of the seventies and eighties, I love all things romantic. There’s not enough of it in real life so I’ll settle for books and films.

I love the rain, the West Wing, London, days when you don’t have to wear make-up, being alone, being with friends, elephants and champagne.

RELEASE DAY: 15 Minutes (Time for Love #4) by Bethany Lopez

 15 Min - RD

unnamed-3 (1)

Raised to be the “perfect” wife, Victoria has spent her days maintaining her impeccable outward appearance and her nights mingling with the rich and entitled. When her engagement to Scott ended, Victoria thought she’d be rid of him and his circle of friends forever, but a chance encounter with Brock will change not only the way she sees him, but the way she sees herself.

Brock is a man who’s happy and content with his life. A surrogate parent to his now-adult brothers, he spends his days running the company he built himself and his nights playing in his brothers’ local band. When he runs into Victoria in the bar after a show, sparks unexpectedly fly, and he’s interested in seeing where it goes.

But can the man who’s happy with his life, convince the woman who always wants more, to give him a shot with only 15 Minutes on the clock?

I was waiting for my beer when the hint of something spicy and expensive wafted toward me. I turned my head to see the back of a woman. She wasn’t dressed for a night at the bar. At least, not a bar like this one. Even from behind she looked like she belonged in a country club. Her skirt was long enough to be demure, but the way it hugged her ass clued me in to the fact that the ass was magnificent, no matter what the package. Her blouse was tucked in the skirt, and she wore stockings with her high heels. Definitely not jiving with the jeans and T-shirts most of the other patrons were wearing.

I let myself fantasize that the stockings led to garters underneath that fancy skirt, as her perfume did crazy things to my senses. I felt my dick harden as my fantasies got away from me, then the bartender interrupted by saying, “Here’s your beer, Brock,” and I saw her stiffen before she turned to look at me.

Her hair was dark brown and fell past her shoulders, straight and silky. Her face was striking. It could have been beautiful, if she’d ever fucking smile … Instead, it always looked pinched and unhappy.

“Hello, Brock,” Victoria said dryly. Her eyebrow rose as if she thought I was standing next to her on purpose.

Snooty Bitch.

“Tori,” I tipped my beer to her in greeting, suppressing my grin as I waited for her reaction. I knew I’d get one. “Here for the show?”

“It’s Victoria, and no, I’m not here for the show,” she answered. Even when she spoke she looked constipated.

“Why are you here then?” I asked, not because I cared, just to irritate her.

She huffed out a breath, the loss of control almost cute, then spat out, “Not that it’s any of your business, but I’m supposed to be meeting my sister. She hasn’t shown up yet.”

“I didn’t know you had a sister,” I replied before taking a pull of my beer.

Victoria watched my mouth as I drank, then my throat as I swallowed, and my dick jumped back to life of its own free will. Shit, maybe it’d been too long.I grinned when she looked up and saw that I’d caught her looking, and she scowled, “Why would you know that I have a sister? You don’t know the first thing about me.”

I stepped a bit closer, inserting myself in her space, and when she realized she couldn’t back away, she squared her shoulders and glared at me.

“I could get to know you,” I murmured suggestively, close enough for her to feel my breath on her cheek. She flinched slightly, but maintained her stiff posture.

“Why would you want to do that?” Victoria asked, her voice almost vulnerable.

Then laughter off by the dance floor grabbed her attention, and I knew she was looking over at Gaby’s table.

She pulled back and looked up into my face, and I was surprised to see that her eyes were so blue that they were almost purple.

“Don’t think just because we’re rejects of your buddies over there, we have anything in common.”

I turned my head to look deliberately at my friends, then back at her and said deeply, “I’m no one’s reject, Tori, I can promise you that.” Then I tilted my head to look at her, curious. “Are you still hung up on Scott?”

I didn’t know why, but I held my breath as I waited for her response.

She didn’t disappoint when she curled her lip and said, “Absolutely not. If he’d rather be with a mutt than a thoroughbred, that’s his problem.”

I chuckled at her haughty words and replied darkly, “You really do have a stick up your ass, don’t you. I don’t know why I like it, Tori.” I inched closer as I spoke, stopping when my chest brushed hers, and she had to crane her neck to look at me. “But I do. I’d like to help you remove it.”

Her expression turned incredulous and she asked, “Are you hitting on me?”

“I must be doing something wrong if you have to ask,” I replied cockily.

“Why?” That vulnerability flashed again, causing a fire to flick in my belly, then she extinguished it when her face pinched back up again and she asked, “Do you want to make them jealous?”

Maybe she was more hung up on Scott and Gaby than I’d thought. She had been engaged to Scott after all. They’d had a long-term relationship, so it would only make sense that it would take her longer to get over it than me.

Still, there was something about her bitchy attitude and that tight little ass that made me want a taste, no matter the circumstances.

“It could be about revenge, if that’s what you want.” I lowered my head farther and gently took the soft lobe of her ear into my mouth.

The taste was fleeting, but it was potent. Especially coupled with her astonished gasp.

I pulled away, giving her room to breath and think, drinking beer as I watched her thoughts dance across her face. I’d definitely succeeded in confusing her.

The sound of my name being called had me looking up, and I nodded when Fast Eddie indicated it was time for us to go on.

“I have to get on stage now,” I said softly. Victoria looked up at me, then at the stage, confusion on her face.

“On stage?”

I nodded but didn’t explain.

“Hang around, watch the show … I’ll find you after.” I could tell she was ready to bolt, so I gave her one last shove, lowering my voice to say, “Just give me fifteen minutes, Victoria. Fifteen minutes and I’ll convince you to give this a shot.” I gestured between the two of us as I spoke. When she opened her mouth, I put a finger up to silence her. “No illusions, Tori. I know you’ve probably never been with a man like me, but don’t worry, I’m not offended. I don’t expect you to fall in love and take me home to meet Daddy.” Her eyebrow cocked again and I laughed; damn, but she sure was a spoiled brat.

I leaned down once more, my voice low and rough in her ear, and said, “No strings, no expectations, just pure pleasure.” I stood and finished with, “I’ll see you after the show.” Then turned to find my brothers. I was in the mood to rock the house.

BOOK BLITZ: Riding Steele: Kidnapped (Riding Steel #1) by Opal Carew

Being kidnapped by bikers is a harrowing experience, but for some reason, Laurie doesn’t feel as terrified as she should. The leader’s steely eyes soften when he looks at her, and the others in his gang clearly know she’s hands off. But does that include Steele’s hands? Her brain resists him, but her body insists she wants those big hands all over her.

Steele doesn’t know how he wound up in this mess–with a kidnapped woman on his hands and the police hot on their trail. Now he and Laurie are in hiding at an isolated cabin, and Steele has to figure out how to extricate himself . . . and steer clear of his accidental captive whose tight, slinky clubbing attire is making him think all kinds of dangerous thoughts…

Steele pulled up in front of the cabin Killer had arranged for them to stay at while they were here. It belonged to his brother who was out of the country for the summer, but allowed Killer to use it whenever he liked.

Steele dismounted his bike, then pulled off his helmet. It had been an enjoyable evening carousing around the town. They’d eaten in a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant with only a handful of tables, but it had the best burger he’d ever eaten. Killer had recommended the place when Rip had told him how much Steele loved his burgers.

Afterward, the guys had insisted on taking him to a strip club. When they first suggested it, he was worried Raven would be uncomfortable, but he should have known better than that by now. The woman seemed up for pretty well anything. In fact, he was surprised she hadn’t starting stuffing bills in strippers’ G-strings.

He was pretty sure it had fired her up, though. On the way back, as he watched Rip riding behind him in his rearview mirror, he was pretty sure she was stroking Rip’s cock through his jeans as they drove. Seeing that, after watching the naked gyrating women at the club, had him pretty fucking hot, too. He hoped that now that they were back at the cabin, that Raven would be up for a good fuck with all of them. Or even a special birthday fuck just for him.

But when Raven climbed off Rip’s bike, Rip tugged her into a deep kiss, his hands cupping over her round ass and pulling her tight to him. Then he grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the door. Steele and the others followed them inside.

“See you guys tomorrow,” Rip said as the two of them scurried up the stairs.

Rip had met Raven when they’d passed through his hometown for a wedding a few weeks ago, and he’d fallen head over heels for her. Her real name was Hayley, but Rip had dubbed her Raven because of her glossy black hair, and the name had stuck.

Steele had never seen Rip happier, and Raven seemed to be living on cloud nine, too. She had blossomed since she’d joined them a few weeks ago, and Steele had a feeling she’d be around for quite a while.

He sighed and walked into the kitchen, then grabbed himself a glass of water and downed it. Not as good as a cold shower, but helped his parched throat.

Shock grabbed a few beers from the fridge. “Want one, birthday boy?”

Steele leaned against the counter, his cock aching. “Naw. What I want requires an available female.”

Shock chuckled. “You and me both. Too bad Raven and Rip took off so fast.” He shrugged. “But they deserve alone time, too.”

No one could argue that both Rip and Raven weren’t generous with her favors.

“That’s the truth.” Steele filled his glass again, halfway, then downed it.

“Well, the guys and I are going to play some cards. I’d ask you to join us, but maybe the best thing for you to do is to turn in.” He grinned. “You can go enjoy your birthday present.”

One of the gifts the guys had given him was a couple of porn flicks, and the master bedroom had a TV and Blu-ray player.

Steele chuckled, then pushed away from the counter and headed up the stairs. Getting some sleep was a good idea. Then he’d get up tomorrow and just enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful lake beside the cabin. As he walked up the stairs, he slid his hand over the inside pocket of his jacket to feel the two Blu-rays there. But he could put off sleep for a little, just to relieve the tension.

* * *

A sound jarred Laurie from the light, fitful sleep she’d fallen into and she clutched the big fluffy comforter closer around her with her unbound hand. She was covered from head to toe, peering out from inside the cocoon.

Was the biker coming back to take her?

The door opened and the light flicked on. In the doorway stood an even bigger, tougher looking biker. He didn’t even glance her way, just closed the door behind him and stripped off his black leather jacket. He pulled something out of the pocket and tossed the garment on the dresser, then opened the doors of the armoire at the end of the bed to reveal a big TV. He turned it on, then put a disc in the player below it.

Images of naked people appeared on the screen. It was obviously lead-in credits for a porn film. He watched for a few moments, then pulled his T-shirt over his head, revealing bulging muscles and a snake tattoo coiling around his bicep then across his chest. Her heart raced as he unzipped his jeans and dropped them to the floor, then stepped out of them.

She held her breath when she saw him hook his thumbs in the elastic of his boxers, then push them down. Oh, God, he was going to get into bed with her and . . . He was going to force her to—

Her breath caught when he stood up.

God, she’d never seen a cock that big. She’d never even imagined a cock that big. Even though it was just starting to swell with need, it was gigantic. And frightening. Impressive. And intimidating.

He turned toward the bed and she sucked in a breath.

His eyes narrowed as his gaze jerked to her.

“What the hell?” He grabbed the covers and tossed them back, ripping away her only protection.

Steele stared at the woman lying in his bed. The sight of her long, shapely legs and slim, but curvy body sent blood straight to his groin. She shifted back and a chain clinked. That’s when he realized one of her wrists was handcuffed to the headboard.

Fuck, this was why Shock had suggested he turn in. Not to watch porn, but to enjoy the birthday present awaiting him in his bed!

He smiled. “Well, hello there.”

Should he slide his cock in her sweet, luscious mouth first, or glide into her hot, melting pussy?

What the fuck?  She was here for the night. He could fuck her right now, relieving his ache, then have her revive him with a blow job and start all over again.

He chuckled and climbed into bed beside her, then shifted closer. He reached for her hand to pull it to his cock, wanting to feel her soft feminine fingers wrapped around him, but as soon as he touched her, she jerked away.

“No, please . . .”  Panic flashed in her wide, blue eyes and she was practically panting in fear.

“What the fuck?”

Then he saw the sparkle of diamonds around her neck. It was the choker Craig’s sister had received as a gift from her boyfriend at the bar earlier tonight.

What the hell was going on here? Steele rolled away from her and sat up, placing his feet on the floor. He stared at the frightened woman, who was sucking in air, panic showing in her widened eyes.

He raked his hand through his hair. “How the hell did you get here?”

Someone started pounding on his door.

“Steele, it’s Wild Card.”

Then the door swung open and Wild Card burst inside. “I fell asleep on the couch. I didn’t mean to . . .”

His gaze fell on Steele’s naked form, then darted to the woman in the bed. Then he shook his head, holding up his hands, palms toward Steele, in a defensive gesture. “Steele, you gotta listen to me.”

Anger surged through Steele and he lurched to his feet. “Wild Card, what the fuck did you do?”

“I didn’t mean to—”

Steele strode toward him. “How the hell did you miss the fact that the plan was not to kidnap the woman?”

OpalHi. I’m Opal Carew, a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author. I write erotic romance for St. Martin’s Press and Samhain Publishing, and I self-publish stories. I also write romance as Amber Carew.

So why do I like writing erotic romance? I like being able to push beyond traditional boundaries. I like dealing with a female character who is growing and evolving – questioning her sexual boundaries and pushing past them. My stories usually include menage a trois. It is great fun to write a heroine choosing between two equally appealing heroes… or more.

These aren’t women who just jump into bed with anyone. They find themselves in an unusual situation – something exciting and erotic - but a situation where they have to push themselves beyond their comfort level. As a result, they grow as a person. So often fear holds us back - of what others will think of us, of what we will think about ourselves - and we don’t follow our hearts. These women push past that fear.

RELEASE DAY BLITZ: This Sweet Escape by Jessie Evans

A dark, sexy, emotional love story from NYT and USA Today Bestselling author Jessie Evans writing as J. Evans

Can you run far enough, fast enough, to escape a broken heart?

For six months I’ve hidden my shameful secret behind my “good girl” image. Perfect grades, perfect smile, perfectly fractured family, with a stepbrother who swears he loves me, and a stepmom who buys me designer clothes—even a perfect boyfriend. I’m the only one who knows that Danny’s life has been anything but picture perfect. He’s always trusted me with his truth; I only want to escape mine. But now I know that’s impossible, and I have to get out before it’s too late. Reality has let me down for the last time. From here on out, I’m making my own reality, and taking Danny with me.

Since we were kids, I’ve known Sam and I were meant to be. Her smile is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, and her laughter is a mystery I want to spend the rest of my life solving. No one believed we would last for the long haul, but I never doubted it. Not until this summer, when Sam meets me at the airport, and says it’s time for a great adventure. As we hop a plane to New Zealand, I want to believe we’re just getting an early start on the world travel we’ve been planning, but deep down, I know something’s wrong. Sam is running from something bad, and the bad things always catch up with you, sooner or later.

And when they do, they have a habit of tearing people who love each other apart.

Please note: The reading order for the Wild Rush series is One Wild Night, followed by This Wicked Rush, One Perfect Love, This Sweet Escape, and One Beautiful Revenge. The last two books tell Danny and Sam’s complete story and can be read as stand alone companion books without reading the first three novels.

WARNING: The Wild Rush series contains graphic sensuality, unconventional morality, and good people forced into making bad choices. Read at your own risk

7302050New York Times and USA Today bestselling author, Jessie Evans, gave up a career as an international woman of mystery to write the sexy, contemporary Southern romances she loves to read.

She’s married to the man of her dreams, and together they’re raising a few adorable, mischievous children in a cottage in the jungle. She grew up in rural Arkansas, spending summers running wild, being chewed by chiggers, and now appreciates her home in a chigger-free part of the world even more.

When she’s not writing, Jessie enjoys playing her dulcimer (badly), sewing the worlds ugliest quilts to give to her friends, going for bike rides with her house full of boys, and drifting in and out on the waves, feeling thankful for sun, surf, and lovely people to share them with.

Ashton Ellis was always the player. One woman changed that when he vowed to love her forever. Things changed with her over the years and they only got worse. He was going to do everything he could to protect his son, from the monstrous mother that gave birth to him.

Working and focusing on his son, Ashton felt there was still something missing. He needed more than the regular one night stands he had become accustomed to. Delisa LynnMy name is Delisa Lynn, I grew up in Columbus Ohio. I’m currently residing in Western New York, where I work as a Medical Assistant.  I love music, all generations, I do have a soft spot for country and 80’s hair bands. My favorite season is fall, I love the weather that time of the year, watching the leaves change and most of all being able to watch football. Go Bucks!! I am also a 49ers fan and New York Yankees fan. My favorite color is pink, not baby pink hot pink. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, we’ve been together going on nineteen years, sometimes I can’t stand him but I wouldn’t trade him for the world. I love you Jay. Our baby is a five year old spoiled Yorki named Sophie and yes she thinks she is human.
I’ve always had a passion for reading and writing. I have very vivid imagination and have always felt I should express it in writing. But I took a different career path, I worked in retail photography for sixteen years. Then I chose to work in the medical field.  Last year, I decided I was going to follow my dream and write a novel. I never imagined it would turn into a series with eight books.  I’m so glad it did, because I love it. When I’m not writing you can find me snuggled with my hubby watching a movie, or cuddled in the corner of the couch with my fur baby reading.
I hope you all enjoy reading my books as much as I did writing them.
