What a bittersweet moment…. give me more Zeth and Sloane!! Callie Hart has proven to me why she is now one of my top favorite authors with this final installment in the Blood & Rose’s series.
Collateral brings everything together and answers all the questions we’ve been having! How are all these people connected? What really happened with Sloane’s sister Alexis aka Sophie? How are Zeth’s parents connected with Charlie Holson? Will Sloane and Zeth actually be able to have a HEA?
All of Zeth’s emotional walls are crumbling and he is finally giving into his feelings. He’s accepting that Sloane is more than just another girl. “Sloane is my girlfriend. She’s even more than that.” (Zeth).
“Do you think she’s forever?” (Zeth) Michael stares straight ahead, waiting for the doors to the elevator to open. “Oh, I knew you were her forever as soon as I saw the way she looked at you, Zee.” He slides his hands into his pockets, clears his throat. And then he turns and looks me straight in the eye and says, “I’m just glad you’ve figured out she’s yours, man. Because you deserve that. And so does she.” (Michael)
There are jaw dropping, WTH moments and even some “ugly cry” moments that make it impossible to put the book down bc you want to know what’s going to happen next! Callie Hart really knows how to throw in some wanted and unwanted surprises in this final installment. Oh and of course, there’s some sexy time that happens…”pick your poison, angry girl. Pleasure, or…pain?” WHOA! *blushing*
