Cunning. Sex. Pure nerve. Only this unholy threesome can raise him to his rightful place as a ruler of Manhattan's kink kingdom.
Bouncing from bed to bed on the Upper East Side, Kingsley Edge is brilliant, beautiful and utterly debauched. No carnal act or chemical compound can relieve his self-destructive heartache—only Søren, the one person he loves without limit or regret. A man he can never have, but in whose hands Kingsley is reborn to attain even greater heights of sin.
Kingsley's plan to open the ultimate BDSM club—a dungeon playground for New York's A-list—becomes his obsession. His expertise in domination can't subdue the one man who wants to stop him. The enigmatic Reverend Fuller won't rest until King's dream is destroyed, and so the battle lines are set; it's one man's sacred mission against another's…

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW: 5 MORE MILLION STARS FOR THE KING
When I finished reading The King for the first time, I felt like something was missing. I felt like my best friend, who I fell in love with, was gone and now I was alone in a very dark room. I felt nostalgic and I wanted my best friend back. That’s how I felt when I finished reading this book. And then, 2 days later, the audiobook was out, and I was extremely happy about it because I would listen to his voice, listen to his sexy French accent, listen to his memories directly from him. I was so ecstatic. And then I knew the audiobook was narrated by a woman, so I got confused. “Why would they do that?” I asked Tiffany, she told me she didn’t decide on those kind of things. The only thing I could do was to get over it and enjoy the audiobook, so I did. AND I LOVED TO LISTENING TO THE AUDIOBOOK AS MUCH AS I LOVED READING THE BOOK.
I have to be honest, it was hard for me to understand the French accent, but not because it was a bad narration, but because it was perfect. Elizabeth Hart does speak in a flawless French accent, or any other accent. Her Welsh accent for Grace was beautiful. Her Texan accent for Justin was brilliant. Her British accent for Felicia was strong and intimidating. Her Australian accent for Lockie was sexy as hell and her British/American accent for Søren was just perfection. She did amazing in the narration.
By listening to her narration, I could feel all the emotions, the longing, the angst, the ache in Kingsley’s heart. It was heartbreaking. Feeling all those emotions that Kingsley was feeling made me cry, and also made me love him more. I could also feel the pride of Søren for his friend/brother/former-lover. It was beautiful to read how Søren was so worried about Kingsley, and it was more beautiful to see how he didn’t give up on King. Not one time. Not even for that week when they didn’t speak, Søren never gave up on King and always believed in him. One of my favorite parts in the book was when Søren welcomed Kingsley to the kingdom. It was a real resurrection for Kingsley. Søren brought him back to life, and not to just keep living the life Kingsley was living, or wasting, but to a better life, with a purpose. Another favorite moment in the book was in the opening party of the club, when Søren lied to Kingsley about the translation from the Danish to the English of “Jeg elskar dig”.
I’m gonna make a short list (I hope so) of the things that I loved about this book:
- Kingsley’s sharp sense of humor.
- Sam: She is the best bartender/assistant/bestfriend that Kingsley could ever get. I’m so glad she had her HEA.
- Mistress Felicia: I can only say this: she’s as lethal as Soren.
- Blaise: I loved her submission to Kingsley but I also loved how she challenged him. She had some “glowing” moments with Søren *jealous*.
- “Have you ever had sex in the back of a rolls royce?” Now I know how was Kingsley’s first time *smirk*
- Grace: Just like The Saint, the story of 20 years ago was told from the present, almost two years after The Mistress finishes, and this time it’s Grace who is listening to the story of the sinners. She was so understanding with Kingsley and they had a very touching moment at the end of the book.
- Kingsley and Søren’s memories from St. Ignatius: I fell in love with both of them when I read The Prince and reading more memories of them from when they were teenagers was like christmas for me. A very kinky sexy christmas.
- The rebirth of the friendship between Kingsley and Søren: Or is it more like the birth of a new relationship, more than friends, they were family.
I will have to stop here, otherwise this list won’t ever end. The last thing I can say is that I loved The King as much as I loved The Saint. How couldn’t I love it if it gave me more reasons to love Søren *sigh*. It also showed me the real King. The true King who earned his kingdom. I missed Nora/Eleanor, she wasn’t as much as I’d love to, but I’m sure there will be plenty of her in The Virgin. Is it March 31st already? 4 months are a short time, right?
Read the review of the book here. It includes a very sexy book trailer with a lot of pictures of Soren and Kingsley. And I think the song is just perfect to describe Kingsley’s life: DANGEROUS.

Hello Tiffany,
It is with great pleasure to have the opportunity to interview you again. I’m really excited to be participating in the blog tour of The King, your 6th book in The Original Sinners Series. As you already know, I’m such a huge fan of this series and was beside myself when I rec’d the ARC for The King. I can’t wait for the release date so everyone will get to know Kingsley better! I just have a few questions for you.
1. Can we talk briefly about Søren? He’s an amazing character who’s very well developed yet is complex and a complete mystery. He intrigues me, what can I say? Anyway, I remember you mentioning about never writing his POV and I totally understand why you said it but can you give us a glimpse what he was thinking the exact moment when he reunited with Kingsley after so many years apart?
Well, you have to remember that Søren saw Kingsley a year earlier when Kingsley was close to death in a French hospital. King never opened his eyes so while Søren saw him, King didn’t see Søren. If I had to guess, I’d saw Søren was terrified to see Kingsley again. This is the one person who made Søren question his calling to become a priest. Søren’s a brand new baby priest in the book and that’s a very vulnerable time for someone in the clergy so I’m sure he was worried he’d succumb to temptation again with King.
2. Out of all the secondary characters in The King, who is your favorite and why?
Sam. She’s my dream girl!
3. Do you prefer writing from a woman’s POV or from a man’s POV?
Either is fine as long as I get the character. Writing from Nora’s POV is just as fun and easy as writing from King’s POV.
4. What kind of research did you do to prepare yourself to write The King? Were there any weird, exciting, shocking and or crazy facts you found while researching?
The most shocking stuff I researched was the reparative therapy Sam underwent as a teenager forced to attend a re-orientation camp. If you don’t know what those are, they are real camps where gay kids are sent to basically be tortured until they recant their homosexual urges. When I say “tortured” I’m not exaggerating. The “therapists” do put electrodes on the genitals and force people to watch porn while they give them drugs to make them vomit. So if you’re a 16-year-old gay teenage boy, they’ll make you watch gay porn while taking an ipecac until you associate gay sex with illness and vomiting. It’s horrifying and it’s still happening. This is why we have a gay rights struggle still going on in the US, because there are people who think that is the right thing to do to gay people.
5. And lastly, you wrote a lot of novellas between the first 5 books, can we expect any sexy novellas before the series comes to a close?
You’ll get a sexy Original Sinners novella very soon! CHRISTMAS IN SUITE 37A is coming in December. It’s a FREE Christmas novella that’ll be on my blog. It stars Michael and Griffin.
Thank you so much for your answers Tiffany!!! It’s always such an honor to interview you.
Thanks for having me!
And may I mention that I appreciate your open honesty in answering any questions readers ask you on twitter and facebook. You have made all of us a fan of your books for life.
Not a problem! But that’s not me on Facebook. That’s Andrew Shaffer, my fiancé. I don’t even have a Facebook account.
