Tessa is a good girl with a sweet, reliable boyfriend back home. She’s got direction, ambition, and a mother who’s intent on keeping her that way. But she’s barely moved into her freshman dorm when she runs into Hardin. With his tousled brown hair, cocky British accent, tattoos, and lip ring, Hardin is cute and different from what she’s used to.
But he’s also rude – to the point of cruelty, even. For all his attitude, Tessashould hate Hardin and she does — until she finds herself alone with him in his room. Something about his dark mood grabs her, and when they kiss it ignites within her a passion she’s never known before.
He’ll call her beautiful, then insist he isn’t the one for her and disappear again and again. Despite the reckless way he treats her, Tessa is compelled to dig deeper and find the real Hardin beneath all his lies. He pushes her away again and again, yet every time she pushes back, he only pulls her in deeper.
Tessa already has the perfect boyfriend. So why is she trying so hard to overcome her own hurt pride and Hardin’s prejudice about nice girls like her?
Unless… could this be love?

BOOK AND AUDIOBOOK REVIEW: 5 f**king STARS
First of all I have to say: THANK GOD THERE IS GOING TO BE A MOVIE OUT OF THIS BOOK!!! I NEED IT NOW!!! It’s funny because this morning I was thinking about starting the review with “I need a movie based on this book” and then I started googling it and found out that it has already a project to make a movie *happy dance* I’m so f**king happy about it. Sorry about the language, but after listening to 18 hours of Harding saying “f**k” once and again, it kind of stucks to me HaHaHa!
Anna Todd wrote such an amazing plot, heartbroken, funny, romantic, sexy (Oh yes, the sex was amazing, I loved it), with great characters and the best thing is that the 4 books are all published within a short period of time, so the wait for the next one will not kill me. I could read the fanfic in wattpad, but I will wait for the edited version of the story and the audiobooks. The first one was great. At first I only was listening to the audiobook, but when I was about 25% of it, I decided to buy the ebook because the story was awesome. I needed to highlight so many great quotes, like this one:
“Loving Noah was comfortable and safe; it was always calm. Loving Hardin is raw and exciting; it sparks my every nerve and I can’t get enough of him”
Tessa was such a good girl, she had lists for everything, she followed the rules of her mom and she had planned her entire future with her BF Noah, until she met Hardin. Yep, he brought the best and the worst of her. Suddenly she was swearing, yelling at people, defying her mom, and doing all things she never thought she would do. She was very matured for her age yet also very naive and Oh. My. God. so freakin insecure! OK, I won’t judge her, she had all the reasons to behave like that, in fact, I think she did great considering the big jackass Hardin was.
Hardin kinda gained my heart with all his meanness. Yes, I admit it, I love bastards like him! Wait, that’s not a secret, everyone knows I love bastard characters that change out of love, and Hardin was one of those characters. He was a total asshole. He was rude and kept hurting Tessa on purpose! Agh! I was so frustrated with their relationship. It is the kind of relationships I hate: They fought, then the made up, then they fought again, and so and so. It was like that the entire book. But…. It kept me hooked up with the story. It made me fall in love with Hardin, fast, hard and unexpectedly, just like Tessa fell in love with him. And yes, Hardin changed for love, at the end of the book I could read how much he loved Tessa, despite everything that he did.
Sadly I have to say is that this book doesn’t have a happy ending, it is a freaking cliffhanger!! Ahhhhhhh I AM in shock with everything. I have to start the second book as soon as possible, because I need to know what happens next.
AUDIOBOOK REVIEW:
Elizabeth Louise made a stunning work with the narration of the audiobook. First, her sweet voice was perfect for Tessa, I could totally pictured a 18 year old girl, all her feelings, all her fears, all her anger and all her sadness. My heart was aching at the end of the book and the narration made it more difficult to endure because Elizabeth’s narration was just perfect. I loved her voice and British accent for Harden, they were flawless, it really sounded like another person talking, it sounded like the voice of a boy, very cocky, very playful, very sure of himself, and when Hardin was feeling exposed and vulnerable, Elizabeth’s voice transmitted all this. I have to say that every time Hardin said “f**k” I LOVED IT!! Specially when they were making love, it was very hot!! The audiobook made me love the book more and more.

I couldn’t help but to use this picture of 1D boys, because the description of all the guys in the book fits perfectly! Dah, yeah I know the book started as a fanfic of 1D, but as I’ve never been a fan of the group (Yeah, dont hate me), I was very curious about it. So here it is:
