BOOK REVIEW: 4,5 STARS
This is a weird book. I love it, don’t get me wrong, but it is really weird. It kind of reminds me of a movie I watched a while ago, I won’t say the name of the movie because it’ll be a huge spoiler, but I keep thinking that maybe what happened to Charlie and Silas is what happened in that movie, but…. I’ll have to wait for the second book to prove my theory. Maybe I’m wrong.
Charlie and Silas have known each other for their entire life, but… not anymore… Their personalities are very different and that is exactly what kept them together for so many years and is also what brought them back together during the events of this book. I see it as “destiny”, they just end up finding each other. In this book, they have to figure out so many things about themselves, their families and their life in general. Somethings are good to find – especially for Silas -, and other not too pleasant – sadly for Charlie -.
This book has so many anxious half of the time – I almost had a heart attack when I was finishing it, OMG – , wanting to know what was happening and what was coming next. I need explanations and I need them soon. Sadly I’ll have to wait until May to read the second part. I really want them to be together. Silas just loves Charlie so much, no matter what. I really hope Charlie stops being so stubborn and starts thinking that she and Silas deserve to be together, but most of all, that she accepts love, his love.
