A bombshell bookworm. A chronic Casanova. And a lesson in chemistry too scandalous for school.

When Hanna Bergstrom receives a lecture from her overprotective brother about neglecting her social life and burying herself in grad school, she’s determined to tackle his implied assignment: get out, make friends, start dating. And who better to turn her into the sultry siren every man wants than her brother’s gorgeous best friend, Will Sumner, venture capitalist and unapologetic playboy?

Will takes risks for a living, but he’s skeptical about this challenge of Hanna’s…until the wild night his innocently seductive pupil tempts him into bed- and teaches him a thing or two about being with a woman he can’t forget. Now that Hanna’s discovered the power of her own sex appeal, it’s up to Will to prove he’s the only man she’ll ever need.

BOOK & AUDIOBOOK REVIEW: 5+++ STARS

I always say that my passion for reading started with Fifty Shades of Grey, and it’s true, but I really started reading like crazy – like if I’m not reading 2 or 3 books at the same time, I feel like I’m not reading at all, like I’m always checking on my goodreads challenge how I’m doing, like I get so excited when a new book is released even if I don’t have time to read it right away, or like how I dance and scream of happiness everytime I get approval for an ARC – after I read Beautiful Player for the first time, back in October 2013. This is a good thing, right? but it’s also a not so good thing, sort of. I can remember almost every detail of Fifty Shades (#1, #2 and #3), Crossfire (#1, #2 and #3), Beautiful Bastard and Beautiful Stranger, because I re-read them several times in a row, and re-listened to the audiobooks almost all day long – yes, even when I was at work –. And sadly, I can’t say the same about Beautiful Player. It’s been over a year since the last time I listened it the last time, and I was shocked because I felt like listening for the first time. Of course I remembered some things, for example the first time they fool around in the party at Hannah’s friend, or the first time they ran together, or the “Jesus is in my cleavage” part. But I couldn’t remember the details, the feelings, how hard and fast Will fell in love with Hannah, and how she fought her feelings because she was so sure Will was going to play with her heart. But the good part is that I could listen to it again, thanks to the Audiobook Challenge, and I LOVE BEAUTIFUL PLAYER MORE NOW!!

There are two things I utterly love about this audiobook. First, SEBASTIAN YORK, and second, GRACE GRANT! This was the first audiobook I listened to that was narrated by Sebastian York and I fell in love with his voice. It’s perfect for Will, so smooth, and seductive, and soooo sexy. I have to say that his narration made this audiobook sexier, and not only in the sex scenes, but in every part of it. Grace, as always, made an amazing performance as Hannah. She narrated for the three females of the series, Chloe – perfect -, Sara – double perfect-, and now Hanna – triple perfect -.  Even though it’s the same narrator, her narration brought their personalities fully and their feelings were narrated from her heart.

There are two things I utterly love about this book. First, WILL FALLING IN LOVE.

“…Holy fuck, what happened to my life? In only a couple of months, almost everything had changed.

Well, not everything. My friends were still the same, my finances were fine. I still ran (almost) daily, still caught basketball on TV whenever I could. But…

I’d fallen in love. How often does anyone see that coming?…”

And secondly, I loved the plot. How Hanna and Will were reunited, how their friendship was getting stronger, how they got involved, the drama – There were bits of it along the book -, and ending was perfect. I really loved the epilogue in this book, the other 2 novels of the series don’t have it, so this was a good surprise for me. *Happy dance*

Recently, Christina Lauren said that there will be more of Will and Hannah! I CAN’T WAIT! Bring it, I need it. NOW!! *More happy dance*
