It’s never been all rainbows and sunshine for Tessa and Hardin, but each new challenge they’ve faced has only made their passionate bond stronger and stronger. But when a revelation about the past shakes Hardin’s inpenetrable façade to the core—and then Tessa suffers a tragedy—will they stick together again, or be torn apart?
As the shocking truth about each of their families emerges, it’s clear the two lovers are not so different from each other. Tessa is no longer the sweet, simple, good girl she was when she met Hardin—any more than he is the cruel, moody boy she fell so hard for. Tessa understands all the troubling emotions brewing beneath Hardin’s exterior, and she knows she’s the only one who can calm him when he erupts. He needs her.
But the more layers of his past come to light, the darker he grows, and the harder he pushes Tessa—and everyone else in his life—away. Tessa’s not sure if she really can save him—not without sacrificing herself. She refuses to go down without a fight. But who is she fighting for—Hardin or herself?

BOOK & AUDIOBOOK REVIEW: 5 SUPER HAPPY STARS
I’m so so so happy with the ending of #hessa story. After everything they went through, after all the suffering, after all the fights, after all the tears, after all the secrets and most of all, after every perfect moment they had together, this was the most perfect ending for their love story.
This book had the drama I expected, I mean, if the first three were so angsty, this one has to be like that, and I almost die. I wanted to sit and listen 15 hours straight, but… I just couldn’t, I had to take pauses and relax, think about anything else, watch a movie, sleep, anything different from listening and reading #AEH. There were so much happening. So much suffering, so many tears, – Oh. My. God. so many tears -. I couldn’t decide whose side I was, because Hardin was suffering as much as Tessa, and later, I couldn’t decide who was more stubborn, – so infuriatingly stubborn, ugh -, but they have always been like that, and I didn’t expect nothing less.
I loved how much they had to mature to finally have a healthy relationship, because let’s be honest, their relationship wasn’t healthy at all, it was intense, it was demanding, it was violent and it was abusive. They loved each other so much, but they needed to do what they did in this book – don’t worry, no spoilers – to finally find balance in their relationship and really be happy together.
The huge secret revealed at the end of After We Fell was a turning point for everything, not just for Hardin, but also for Tessa. I was shocked about the truth, and I would have liked to know what Hardin’s mom had to say about it. I loved how everything turned to be for Hardin and his family.
I loved what happened to the secondary characters. Landon has his #HEA *happy dance*. Tessa’s mom finally found her peace. I loved how Kim always was there for Tessa, even when Kim was having her own problems. I also liked the new friends Tessa and Hardin made, they were good for them, they were no problematic friends like those classmates they had before. And talking about them, Zed, – ugh, that idjit! – Tessa finally knew his real intentions and put him in his place *applause*.
This was really an amazing series, totally loved it. It made me like One Direction, I can’t watch a video of them without thinking: Hey there’s Hardin, oh look at Landon, ugh that’s Zed!. I can’t wait for the movie, I can’t wait to have the chance to re-listen to all the audiobooks, and I can’t wait for more books by Anna Todd. She gained my heart, and from now on, I’ll read anything she writes, in fact, I’m currently reading one fanfic she’s posting in wattpad, it’s called FREE (Click here to read the first two chapters)
(Kudos for me for not using the word “fucking” in this review after listening to Hardin saying it once and again throughout four long books Ha Ha Ha)
AUDIOBOOK REVIEW
I remember when I started listening to After We Collided, I didn’t like Shane East’s voice. I thought he sounded older for Hardin, but after 3 audiobooks I can only think of Harding with his voice. I love his british accent, and he narrates very well the male characters. The voice he makes for the female characters is funny and very fake, but I got used to it. Elizabeth Louise on the other hand was amazing making everyone’s voices, especially Hardin’s. I totally loved when she was speaking for Hardin, she can make a deep tone, and she did great the british accent. I loved so much their narrations, they made this journey with Hardin and Tessa so much easier, and made me love them more and more with every audiobook I listened.
