From New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby comes the third romance in the Love Under the Big Sky series, featuring a veteran struggling with PTSD and the one woman who can help him recover—and learn to love again.

Jillian thought she was a city girl through and through; the fast cars, high fashion, and glamour—she loves it all. But when her ex tells her he’s having a baby with his new wife (after Jillian struggled for years to get pregnant), she hightails it back to Montana to cry on the shoulder of her best friend, Cara.

But in truth, Jillian would rather be comforted by someone else…specifically Zach, Cara’s brother-in-law. Zach is a veteran of the Iraq War who came back to the family ranch to raise his preteen son after the boy’s mother took off. He’s struggling to re-establish a relationship with his son, and warding off the demons of PTSD, which still haunt him. The last thing he needs is bold, brassy Jillian…but why can’t he keep his hands off her?

BOOK & AUDIOBOOK REVIEW: 5 STARS

Ever happened to you that you can’t stop smiling when you are reading a book? This what happened to me with Falling for Jillian. I totally adore Jillian and Zach’s love story. It’s one of those love stories you need to read because it is so beautiful. They make their relationship beautiful despite the ugliness of their pasts, despite all the bad things that happened to them in their old relationships.

I liked Jillian so much. She’s a strong, confident and successful woman who is not feeling that way anymore. She felt like a failure because her broken marriage, and she decided to move back to her hometown to start over. In my opinion that was the best decision she ever took, she not only recovered her self esteem, but also she found her true love, Zach. There are two things I loved about Jillian. First, she is willing to stand for her loved ones and most of all, she was amazing when she was defending Seth – I love that kid -. Second, she accepted Zach with all his baggage, but the best of this is that she made him feel like those weren’t baggage after all.

Zach is now in the collection of book boyfriends. He is amazing. I love how real Kristen wrote him. He was moody, he was jealous, he was possessive. But he also was loving, caring, an amazing father, and a great friend. Oh, did I mention he was amazing in bed? Oh. My. God. It was amazing! I want one Zach for me, please! I loved about him that he was so persistent, he never gave up.

This is the first novel I read of Kristen Proby. Last year I read #BICO (Read my review here) and i liked her novella Saving Grace. It was good, but not as good as this book. Her writing style in Falling for Jillian is beautiful, her descriptions, the storyline, the characters. Everything was awesome. I’ll read the previous books of this series and I’ll surely read her books to come.

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW:

Deacon Lee and Elizabeth Louise did an amazing job with their narrations. They made their tones lower to match the ages of the characters and that was the thing I liked the most about their narrations in this audiobook. I loved Elizabeth’s narration when they were spending time with Seth, I was smiling like an idiot just by listening all the emotions of Jillian through Elizabeth’s voice. It was heart warming. And then, when Deacon was narrating their kisses or when they were making love, it was sexy and romantic at the same time. My favorite part of Deacon’s narration is when Zach was being so possessive in bed.
