AUDIOBOOK REVIEW: 5 STARS
I’m just gonna say this: The audiobook of The Master was the hottest thing I’ve ever listened in my entire life. The narration made this book even hotter. Kimberly Alexis has a very sexy voice. She can speaks with sexy accents, her spanish is flawless and her russian is *sigh* erotic. I never thought the russian accent could be that hot. Her narrations for the sex scenes were scorching hot, toes curling hot, blushing hot (remember I don’t usually blush)… Perfect HOT!
I was hooked by this story with the first 5 minutes I listened of the audiobook. Catarina Marín was in trouble, she needed money, and she accepted the offer to be an escort. She was determined to walk in, do the “job”, get the money, walk out and never repeat again. That’s now who she was, but she needed the money, so she went for it. And nothing happened as she expected. Her client, Maksimilian Sevastyan, was a DDG (Drop Dead Gorgeous) politician from Russian and very wealthy. He was cold and intimidating, and despite Katya wasn’t what he “ordered”, they had the most intense sex ever, also not what he was expecting.
The story reminded me a little of Pretty Woman, but with some variations and additions: The hottest BDSM, a lot of scary mafya man, a fugitive wife, a kidnaping, a wedding and the best ending ever. I liked Katya from the beginning, she’s fierce, she has a comment for everything, and if it’s in spanish even better, and she’s very insatiable *smirk*. She loves to have sex with her Ruso, but then again, who wouldn’t like that?, the man is a sex russian god *fan self*. And my weakness for bastards made me love Maxim so much. I loved his accent, it was the sexies thing ever. Every time he said those russian words, every time he used the chastity belt with Katya, every time he was all bossy on her, every time he pulled down his cold walls and showed his real self to Katya, I fell more in love with him.
Loved this audiobook, if you are going to read the book, you have to listen to the audiobook too, it’ll make it even hotter! 100% recommended!
