“We have someone who saw you struggling with the deceased before using that knife. Your best friend, and our eye witness.”
In nine weeks Charlie Miller’s life goes from high-rolling perfection to a crypt of sin. All it takes is one night, one blade, and her boyfriend, best friend and new friends all either end up as suspects or dead.
Nate Westcott, a pierced, tattooed, charismatic lawyer, is a man she can’t have—but a seductive danger she can’t ignore. He’s cocky, infuriating, brilliant and wrong, yet he makes her question whether she really is the good girl she wants to be or more like the selfish killer everyone thinks she is.
And her body wants him in ways she’s not supposed to crave.
As the weeks close in, cracks start forming in her everyday world of pro football golden boys, law school domination and New York City nightlife. Everyone she cares about is at risk because one of them doesn’t love Charlie back. In fact, they want her out of the way. Disposed of. Set up.
One more step, and all Charlie has to do is fall through.
Week 1 starts now.

SERIES REVIEW: 4,5 STARS
I’ve never had so much fun reading a suspense series. I was anxious, suspicious, furious, sad, relieved and happy by reading Charlie’s story. I had the chance to read the first three books in december and I totally loved them. Afterwards, Ketley continued giving me the ARC of every new part and I loved the series more and more. She’s an amazing author, has a smooth style of writing and she develops characters and plots flawlessly.
What I loved about the series:
-Charlie. She was intelligent, determined, strong, and very fragile at the same time. Sadly she trusted so easily and that brought her a lot of headaches, shed tears and a lot of troubles. HUGE troubles.
-Slade. He was the golden boyfriend, he was perfect until everything wasnt anymore. I was #TeamSlade half of the series. I wanted him to be the best choice for Charlie, but his actions were so hurtful, awfully hurtful. My heart was aching so much with Charlie.
-Nate. He was the fantasy. The bad boy. I didn’t trust him til the very end of the series, when he showed how truthful he could be for Charlie and for all this mess she was in. By the end of the series I was so #TeamNate.
What I hated in the series (Not about the series, because I really loved this part, kudos for this suspense Ketley)
-Reagan. Ugh. She was so annoying. From the beginning I knew she was trouble. I’m really sorry for what happened to her. I don’t know why I was expecting her to show up at the end of the series, but that never happened.
-Lara: She was always my suspect #1. Always. She was always so hypocrite with everyone. One minute she was defending Charlie, the other minute she was defending Reagan, and she was always all over Nate and Slade. Ugh. I just couldn’t with her.
This is an awesome series. 100% Recommended.
