Welcome to the sexy, crazy, wildly unpredictable world of modern matchmaking, where fixing up strangers is part of the job—but falling in love is an occupational hazard…
He's The Perfect Catch.
Blake Donovan is tall, handsome, rich, and successful—so why would a guy like him need a matchmaker? Andrea Dawson has no idea, but a job is a job. After being blackballed from a career in marketing, Andrea agreed to use her unique profiling skills to play matchmaker out of pure desperation. But when she meets her highly eligible—and particular—first client face to face, she wonders what she’s gotten herself into…
Is She His Perfect Match?
Blake knows exactly the kind of woman he’s looking for—and it’s the total opposite of Andrea. Though smart and undeniably sexy, she is simply too headstrong for a man who’s used to being in charge. Still, Blake’s blood pressure rises whenever she’s near him. How can he explain the smoldering attraction that sizzles between them? And how can Andrea deny she’s feeling it, too? Maybe, just maybe, they’ve finally met their match…

Jenn’s Book Review: 5 Stars
Reading this book was one of the most joyful ones so far. There was none constant tension and mystery which I usually adore in a good book. This is what I would call a feel good book 🙂
It was easy to read, had many funny moments which only made the book even softer and sweeter.
Maybe, but just a little bit, it was slow to get into it at the beginning but only because I wanted some sweet love to be shown already 🙂
I love to read a book from both main characters POV and even if I wouldn’t call this for a double POV book we still get to see how both sides are thinking, feeling and developing through the story.
It was full with different kinds of emotions from Blake and Andy’s side and I felt like I was just in the room there with them 🙂
So here is another book boyfriend to love….Blake totally captured my heart 🙂
I would absolutely be blown away if dear authors would write a novella for this one….so we get a little more time with these lovely love birds and see how it all played out after The End!
Angy’s book review: 5 stars
If I used to think that Laurelin Paige is an amazing writer, now I think she and Kayti McGee are THE PERFECT MATCH! This book is funny and sexy, romantic and erotic, the characters were amazing, the storyline is very entertaining and the ending is just perfect.
I fell in love with Blake and Andy! They were amazing. Their attraction was palpable in the air. I love it when an author can write that very well. I also loved the tension between them, Andy’s sassiness and Blake’s assholeness only could lead to one thing: A perfect match.
Everybody needs to read this book. 100% recommended.
Question for both: What made you decide to start writing together?
One of our friends had suggested using this craigslist ad (it’s now page one of Miss Match) to write a book, and we both kept mulling over the idea. After a while, we decided to write just a couple chapters together as an experiment. Turns out it was a match made in heaven!
Question for both: Have you ever considered using or applying to this kind of service…matchmaker?
Neither of us have used a matchmaking service, but both of us married our bosses, so we have *some* experience in the workplace romance! 🙂
Question for both: What is the kind of woman Blake is looking for?
Blake thinks he wants a quiet, demure house-wife type. Someone content to take the backseat, run the household, and show up to company parties as arm candy. But sometimes what you think you want isn’t what you need at all…
Question for both: Which one of you chose Blake’s physical characteristics?
We actually had come up with his personality first, so then we spent a lot of time trying to figure out an actor we both found hot. We went through several muses before we settled on Paul Rudd.
The last one is only for Laurelin: Will this book be as hot as your books as a single author?
There’s less actual sexy times in Miss Match than in my Fixed series, but I think the sexual tension makes up for it. And when they do finally get it on, it’s just as hot as anything else I’ve written.
