Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish.

The main reason we, the COBB bloggers team, are friends is because we love discussing everything book related, and when I saw this feature among the blogs I follow, I suggested we make our list… So here we go:

The Original Sinners Series by Tiffany Reisz

This is one of those series that has it all. BDSM (not much of a variety), misterious events and people from the past trying to ruin characters future, forbidden relationship with a priest, underage sex, F/F, M/M, M/F/M, M/F/F, hard core sadism… even rape. It has everything. If you want variety, read this series.

The Dark Duet Series by CJ Roberts

The Dark Duet series has diversity because we have a story with taboo twist. It’s dark, sexy and sometimes disturbing. – Clau –

This series is DARK. It makes u dig deep into the recesses of your mind and makes u question your sanity. It makes u wonder if u could have “Stockholm syndrome” bc u fall in love with the captor right along with the captive. There’s mystery, kidnapping, abuse, rape, neglect, and it’s so disturbing u just hate to love it. Certain aspects contain scenes with M/M/F scenes and there is even topics of ppl having ppl as “pets”/slaves. The BEST part though, there is also this unconventional and unexpected love story that happens. – Vivian –

Black Lotus series by E.K. Blair

This series is one of those that u read with one eye open. You’re scared to read the next page, but compelled to continue bc u just HAVE to know where the twisted mind of EK Blair will take u. It deals with the taboo, the things “normal” ppl pretend don’t happen in real life: murder, rape, molestation, deceit, and revenge. It’s the things that happen only in our nightmares. There’s also this turbulent love story in this series, that leaves u confused if u want them to have a HEA or not.

Monsters in the Dark series by Pepper Winters

Monsters In The Dark Dark. Dark. And more dark. This series may not have many different things but the ones that it has, leave you breathless for D A Y S!! Trafficking, punishment, lots of dark BDSM, revenge and of course an irresistibly twisted love. It’s a story that you can’t put down easily because of the great amount of intensity that involves. FUN FACT: And as strange as it maybe sounds, this series makes me burst into tears like every. Single. Time.

A Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin

A Song of Ice and Fire This series is one of those you can’t put down, it has all diverse experiences, and it’s an epic fantasy novel that received favorable critique for its diverse portrayal of women and religion, realism over magic. We as readers have to expect the unexpected, especially with our favorite character. We will find violence, sexuality and moral ambiguity.

This is a book about a F/F interracial relationship. One girl discovering her sexuality and the other very comfortable with her bisexuality. It’s a blow of fresh air the depiction of such a positive light on bisexuality.
