Angy Potter: You’re welcome, Jen! 😉 I had to talk to you about it, it has everything we love in a book/audiobook: One sexy protective alpha male, one strong female and one romantic and very interesting plot!
Jennifer: Precisely…and I really loved that this book was showing so much friendship and had that as focus most of the times. All we’ll do to protect it from everything even ourselves if needed
Angy Potter: I agree! Wolfe and Gen’s friendship was very important for them… And at the end was what made it easier for them to have their HEA
Jennifer: Yes and I really liked to see how much he struggled to fight against his own feelings, afraid that it would cause him losing her in the end.
Angy Potter: My poor Wolfe 🙁 I wanted to hug him and comfort him for ever! Gen was perfect for him and she did it for me *jealous*
Jennifer: I totally agree with you! Because we all know that many times when friendship shifts to love and when love fades away….you have neither left 🙁
Angy Potter: Yes… You know what I loved the most about this book? Gen’s tenacity! When she was sure of what she wanted, she was so clear to Wolfe about it and didn’t gave in when Wolfe was being a coward (because he was a coward UGH) and despite her heartbroken, she kept her head high! Until he came back to her! I LOVE GEN!
Jennifer: Sometimes people need someone to push them to their limits in order to realize what they REALLY want and how BAD they want it! I loved them both!!! 🙂 And what about all the painful secrets Wolfe was hiding? My heart was breaking every time when we traveled back to his past.
Angy Potter: OMG My poor baby! 🙁
Jennifer: IKR?! 🙁 But he is a survivor and I was so proud of him 🙂
Angy Potter: YES! I’m so happy he had his adoptive family!
Jennifer: Yes I loved them too…so nice and kind people that showed him real love.
Angy Potter: Oh talking about families…. What do you think about Gen’s family? UGH! OK, at the end i did like them, but i wanted to slap them all for being so blind!
Jennifer: I was so pissed of by her family at first !!!! Can’t even tell you how much….My thoughts were…WTH? Family should stand by their ones and not blindly trust some outsider psycho douche bag.
Angy Potter: Yes! But they were good at the end!

Angy Potter: Finally, let’s talk about the narration
Jennifer: That girl is a saint! She nailed the characters voices….I really felt like there were different people.
Angy Potter: That’s what Madeleine Maby does! Her performances are always perfect! The voices and inflexions are very accurate for every character!
Jennifer: I have listened to many audiobooks and not many narrators succeed to make me believe and get that feeling about different characters and real change in their voices….but this one is spot on 🙂
Angy Potter: Awesome!! That’s why she’s one of my favorite ones!!
