The title alone is a bit touchy subject and after reading some comments and reviews I must admit that I was afraid what I would read in this book. I almost got the feeling it was going to be filthy and tasteless one. But thank God it couldn’t be farther from the truth!
It is a love story that will capture your heart and soul!
This story is about Tyler Bell who felt the calling to become a priest after his older sister committed a suicide due to being molested by their parish priest for years. He always felt the guilt about not being able to help his sister before it was too late and that was his motivation and drive to be as good priest as possible and serve God and his parish. He was very well loved by all and successful at his task until one day a woman showed up that would turn his world upside down and change its course forever.
As he listened to her confessions day after day his manly desire and need were woken to life again and he was fighting against them and himself for that matter each day. You can really feel his resistance and want to stay on his path but all of it was useless when it came to Poppy Danforth. She was the one who would put everything he knew and felt to testing.
From raw sexual desire and need to explore every inch of this woman and everything he wanted to do to her there was something more underneath it all. Something Father Bell didn’t wanted to admit even to himself.
Was she the one for him? Was is it love for both of them or was Tyler being played?
What was he to do? Surrender to his sinful love for Poppy? Leave his priesthood for her sake?
Will it all be worth it?
I was mesmerized by this story and of course my absolute favorite thing is that it was told by a man’s point of view 🙂
It was beautifully written with class and still held that human feel. There was lust, desire, love, humor and I don’t even know how to explain those hot and steamy sex scenes that were so well formed and outlined for the readers. It wasn’t just another “sex book” but damn it has that arousing sex appeal to it that will get you moved for sure!!! I can just say I was well pleased with this book and its storyline and characters that made this reading a very easy and pleasant outtake of my time.
I highly recommend you to read this amazing love story between two people who are trying to fight their love and desire for each other in the name of the Lord All mighty!
