In a novel that's perfect for fans of Abbi Glines and Jessica Sorensen, USA Today bestselling author Lauren Layne delivers a sexy take on the timeless question: Can a guy and a girl really be “just friends”?

When Parker Blanton meets Ben Olsen during her freshman year of college, the connection is immediate—and platonic. Six years later, they're still best friends, sharing an apartment in Portland's trendy Northwest District as they happily settle into adult life. But when Parker's boyfriend dumps her out of the blue, she starts to wonder about Ben's no-strings-attached approach to dating. The trouble is, even with Ben as her wingman, Parker can't seem to get the hang of casual sex—until she tries it with him.

The arrangement works perfectly . . . at first. The sex is mind-blowing, and their friendship remains as solid as ever, without any of the usual messy romantic entanglements. But when Parker's ex decides he wants her back, Ben is shocked by a fierce stab of possessiveness. And when Ben starts seeing a girl from work, Parker finds herself plagued by unfamiliar jealousy. With their friendship on the rocks for the first time, Parker and Ben face an alarming truth: Maybe they can't go back. And maybe, deep down, they never want to.

book review: 4.5 BFF stars!!!

I LOOOOOOOVED IT!! I loved it like 200%!! I had a blast while reading it!! Every page was something extraordinary that was pulling you deeper into the dimension that’s called Blurred Lines.

It’s impossible to put it down because…… C,MON!! Who wouldn’t be curious as hell about what is gonna happen between these two with-different-chromosomes best friends? Plus, this story could easily be based on actual facts since we either have been in a situation like that or we have friends that are in it. 😉

So, yeah, my best friend is a guy. Doesn’t mean I have to like it all the time.

Ben and Parker’s story is a scenario that you can easily find around you. But their has an incredible intensity inside of it. And that is thanks to the the way Layne unfolds it that takes your breath away.

Ben an my no strings attached relationship? Yeah turns out that there are suddenly strings after all. And I’m completely tangled in them.

The scenes where they are on their own, they are just priceless!! Either if they are erotic – and believe when I say that they are out-of-this-world HOT! -,hilarious or just emotional. And the lines in these scenes? You want to print the out and hang them on your wall!! I think I had collected over 12 amazing quotes that I could use for the collage….. And the choice was harder than I thought!! And what’s even harder is the temptation to write them all down inside this review……..

I toss he r shirt into a pile with mine. Success. Only this time, I’m not quite as cocky.

And Lauren Layne’s writing? Just captivating! She could turn even the most normal and usual moments into something entertaining and amazing!

Now, I wouldn’t say I rush this moment with other girls, but, Let’s face it, once you’ve found your way home, it’s sort of the downward rush toward glory, right?

I really don’t know what else to say about this author. I just love her and her stories! And she made the hours that I spent reading this book worth it!

Thank you Lauren! <3 <3 <3
