Leah Godfrey has almost everything she could ask for—
She’s got an interior design business with an A-list clientele, a weekly spot on a national morning TV show, and a great daughter—but she doesn’t have a date for her twentieth high school reunion. It wouldn’t be a big deal, but her ex-husband was her high school sweetheart, and now he’s married to the slut Leah caught him with in bed. She won’t let the biggest failure of her life overshadow her success.
When her best friend suggests she hire a date, Leah thinks the idea is scandalous. But for one weekend, she wants to forget her mistakes and pretend she has everything her ex took away from her.
Jagger Holiday makes women’s fantasies come true—
But working as a male escort leaves him feeling empty. He turns to photography to fill the void. When Jagger gets a call from a lonely single mom who needs the same thing he does, he wants more. He wants her.
Leah and Jagger have no problem convincing everyone at the reunion they’re together. She should’ve known better than to think there’d be no strings attached.
After all, he’s a professional.

This is the first book of Kristen’s new series, The Escort. This is the story of Leah Godfrey, divorced, mother of a teenager. After her crappy marriage she decided to make her dreams come true, now she has an interior design business and a tv show, she has accomplished all that she ever wanted, but her love life is not as successful as her professional.
Her twentieth high school reunion is close so she needs a date, her friend Kari suggest her to hire an escort, even though Leah thinks is a bad idea, she did it anyway.
So she met Jagger Holiday, the hot escort and their chemistry was undeniable. Sparks everywhere between them. They can’ deny the attraction and the feelings between them. they hope for a live together, but will be Leah able to share with all his clients?
“You made me want to break my rules, Leah. I realize I wasn’t satisfied.”
Personally I couldn’t connect with Leah’s character. I didn’t like how her character was developed. She is successful because her marriage ended, not because she fight for it. If her husband never cheated on her she’d still on her crappy job. She wants to have this fantasy with Jagger for a weekend but she doesn’t realize that actually she can live this fantasy for the rest of her life, she refuse to fight for what she wants. Jagger will change her whole perspective of life but she’s the one who has to make a decision.
Despite it was an interesting story and plot, at some point of it I feel like it had a lack of something, that I don’t quite know yet what it is. Though it wasn’t a story with a heroine who i could identify myself with, maybe you’ll find something to relate and enjoy it more.
