After reading book 1 Free me and with that unexpected cliffhanger at the end that had me so confused and a bit pissed off this book picks off almost 1 year later.

Gwen is left alone by JC even though now she knows some of his secrets that justify his behavior but that doesn’t help her broken heart and inability to move on without him. She doesn’t know if he is ever coming back but still hoping that he will. She goes on with her life filling it mostly with her work, friends and family. She is also having casual sex with another man but forever with JC at her mind.

And then it finally happens….JC is back and more or less begging for a second chance with her. Gwen is doubtful and scared to her core of being her and left again,but her love, desire and need for him is bigger than any doubt in a world. They give it another try…but as always in every paradise there is also trouble!

Book was well written and easy to read. I loved every chapter of it. JC and Gwen are a lovely couple that any reader would fall in love with. Their story, their love will consume us all. I felt really good reading this book and couldn’t put it down until the very end. Another thing that I LOVED about this book was that characters from Fixed series were included and I adored to met old “friends” Hudson, Alayna, Chandler, Mira, Adam. This book made me realized how much I loved Hudson Pierce and still missed him.

I give it 5 stars!!!!
