Jesus H. Christ, Samantha!! You did it again!! Once again you made me swoon like crazy over the Sawyer brothers! And what a Sawyer Ian was?!?!
From the first time that I took this book series in my hands I knew that it would become fast one of my Top favorites and that their BBFs will be on my Top 5 for a long long long time – if not Ever. And Devon & Ian Sawyer definitely deserve the Ever place!
…he didn’t consider himself a stalker. He was a voyeur – what the difference was, he wasn’t sure, but if someone asked, he was sure he could think of something.
Waiting, although, for this book was one of my greatest tests and tortures that I had ever had to endure! And if you ask my blog-mates or even my BFF about how I was while I was waiting for it, I bet they would likely compare me with a kid who has to stay away from its favorite candies for a long period of time – if they won’t say something dirtier!! :p
But let me picture for you what this book made me feel!
First of all, the love story and the plot. WTH? Can Samantha make it any harder for me? Really! This love was as consuming as Dev & Kristen’s. I couldn’t put it down! My phone was always with me and I was always trying to find a moment or two where I could read even just one chapter.
He held on to her hand a little tighter, unwilling to allow one of the sharks to move in and steal her away from him.
And now, it’s time to speak about the characters. And – surprise, susrprise! – I will start with who else: Ian “Boss-man” Sawyer! This guy really knows how to get you hot & bothered in no time – just like his brother! Ian is the oldest of these two Sawyers and, after reading a bit about him, it’s obvious why he has the nickname of the Boss-man! And it’s not only because he’s the boss of the “Sexy Six-pack” ex NAVY Seals and their businesses!! Oh, no no no! There is more than that! And is such a hot, dominant, amazing more!! BDSM Dom if it means anything to you – which I BET it does! And everything that was coming out of his mouth was just pure sin!
Let me give you a little taste of my world tonight, Angel. No pain, just pleasure. And no intercourse. I want to make you cum for me. I want to statter under my touch. Will you let me please you?
As for his woman or better His Angel, Angie, I only have to say that I L O V E D her spirit and fire! And these really made her even a greater submissive and greater match to Ian than anything else could. I adored her way of loving Ian – and him loving her back –
Ian knew in his heart he would never recover from the loss,never love another woman the way he loved his angel.
and dealing with him and the others. Also, her past made me really tear up! Just like her best friend’s, Jimmy, did. And mentioning him, it’s his turn now! Jimmy was one of these rare characters that you don’t know if you want to love or hate, but in the end, you always end up doing the former! Especially after the half of the book, I was waiting impatienly for the moments where he shows up again. And I cried so much over him in the end….. (Of course, don’t expect me to say why! :p )
For the end, i’d like to say a few things the author herself. As I had said my the review of Leather & Lace, Samantha Cole, though a new author, was about to become one of the best ones and we should expect great things for her hand! And she really made this statement of mine come true again! Because simply, the way her hand writes and her mind works, are just GREAT! I really can’t wait to read the 3rd one, the story of my dearest Boomer!
