Bad boy drummer Aidan Burke of Dirty B takes center stage in New York Times bestselling author Emma Hart’s hotly anticipated follow-up to Dirty Past and Dirty Secret!

Aidan Burke is the perfect rebound guy for Jessie Law after she catches her asshole ex-boyfriend with his hands down some other girl’s pants. The world-famous drummer of Dirty B isn’t shy about his preference for no-strings-attached relationships, so when she meets him on a night out, she takes him up on his simple proposal: One night of fun. Hot sex. Zero expectations.

But Dirty B’s tour is over, and they’re back in South Carolina—which means running into Aidan more often than Jessie would like.

When Aidan saves Jessie from her ex-boyfriend by insisting the two are dating, the band’s manager convinces them to keep up the charade in the hopes of re-inventing Dirty B’s image as lovable bad boys, as opposed to d-bags. Now all Aidan and Jessie have to do is put on a very obvious, very public show to convince everyone their affection is real.

But pretending to be in a relationship is harder than it seems. Aidan’s hordes of jealous fans have no problem bombarding Jessie with threatening messages online—and worse. And things only get more complicated when Jessie realizes her feelings for Aidan may not be so fake after all. Can Jessie live with the risks? And is Aidan willing to let her?

About the book:

Jessie just found out her boyfriend of 2 years has cheated on her and is trying her best to forget about him and move on, but is looks a bit difficult because her ex Dex is doing all he can to get to Jessie and probably  just beg her to take him back. But that is not at all what Jessie has on her mind….She just wants to move on and the best way to do it according to her best friend Chelsea is to find herself a hottie for a rebound.

Aidan is a drummer in one of the most popular and hottest rock bands together with his brothers and they are back in town before yet another tour. A hot, all masculine type with tattoos that every girl would give her right…hell even her left hand to get him in bed. Every girl except for Jessie. He has wanted Jessie for years, lusted for her but she never game him even a glimpse of her attention. The two strongly disliked each other since they were kids.

Now the two find themselves at the same bar on the same night and you can just imagine that some shit is about to go down. After some flirting and using the best of his charms Aidan and Jessie decide to have this one night of hot passionate sex and that’s the end of it. They hook up and have one of the most amazing nights and sex you can read about out there. Only problem is in the morning Aidan is nowhere to be seen and Jessie curses for herself that she even considered that stupid idea of going to bed with a asshole like Aidan Burke.

Jessie gets her shit together and goes on like nothing happened and goes to work the next day only to find her ex Dex waiting for her there and trying to talk to her. She takes his coffee order and tells him that she is not interested, but he doesn’t backs down. Its first when Aidan stands right behind him and tells him to back off and he might claimed Jessie as his own……She was now his girlfriend. But not for real….They make an agreement to play this picture perfect couple for the public. Jessie gets Dex of her back and Aidan gains some good boy imagine in press.

But what happens when you pretend to have this crazy in love relationship with someone you can’t stand to be around with but still feel the amazing, fire starting attraction to?  Every kiss, every touch, every breath starts to shifts from fake to real one? Will either one of them come clean and admit it? Or will they continue to play this charade for everyone else to see?

My review:

This is the first book I have read by Emma Hart, but trust me it is NOT the last one. I have already got my hands on the previous 2 books in this series 🙂 Once you get to know one Burke brother, you just HAVE to learn more about the rest of the family 😉 To say that I loved this book is not enough!!!

I adored it and never wanted to rush to the end because it was giving me these great vibes I wanted to hold on to forever 🙂 The book gets to the business from chapter one and keeps your attention on high level to the very last line. It’s funny full of comic lines from both Aidan and Jessie. You can feel the passion and heat between them burning on every page so be prepared with a fire extinguisher just in case you need one 😉 It was really thrilling to get to know every other character in this one. Book wasn’t focused on the love birds alone but their family and friends too, and every one of them has brought this book to be as good as it is.  Overall a great reading for everyone who appreciate good romance, comedy, love story with that hot dose of XXX that makes you want to jump in the book 😉

Aidan can show me his sticks any day of the week 😉

Ooops….did I just say that??? Yeah I did and I sure as hell mean it *wink wink*

Favorite quotes:

Slowly, Jessie looks at me from the corner of her eyes. “For dinner? Isn’t that a little too real for you, Aidan Burke?”
I hold my free hand out to the side. “I don’t make the rules, baby.”
“You don’t follow them either.” “So come break them with me.”

I have the choice to fight for you. And, Jessie? I will. I’ll fight until the only choice you have left is me. I will fight for the rest of my fucking life, until you see that the choice you’re making by leaving right now is the wrong one.

Theme song: Enrique Iglesias – Tonight I’m loving you
