When you land in hot water, swim for safety—or let the fire burn.
Claire McKinley has just experienced every bride’s nightmare. The groom is a no-show, and now she must face five hundred guests alone. Furious and humiliated, Claire seeks help from the most unlikely candidate—her almost-brother-in-law, who promptly whisks her away to his apartment in San Diego, where she can recover her pride in peace and quiet.
Dylan Wade is no fan of Claire’s, but no way can he leave the jilted bride in her time of need. Bringing her home seems like a good idea—until he remembers his new roommate. Dylan’s relationship with Aidan is…complicated. And with Claire thrown into the mix, life becomes even more…complicated.
Claire is blindsided by her attraction not only to Dylan, but also to Aidan, a man she’s just met. Soon they’re caught up in an all-consuming sexual storm they can’t fight even if they wanted to. Yet Claire wonders if it can last, or if she’s just setting herself up for more heartache.
Warning: This book is very dirty. Ménage a trois and man-on-man dirty. Graphic-language and explicit-sex dirty. Basically? Dirty. You’ve been warned.
BOOK REVIEW: 5+ STARS
“Hotter than ever” is the story of two hot SEAL’s, Dylan and Aidan, and Claire, ex-fiancée of Dylan’s brother Chris. This douche dumps Claire 10 minutes before their wedding was about to go down. Dylan, sweetheart that he is, rescues Claire from this embarrassing disaster and takes her back to his place. But he’s not the only one living there; he shares his condo with Aidan. Claire soon discovers that those two are not only roommates and colleagues, but also lovers. And they’re looking for a woman to complete their lives. Can Claire be that woman?
This book was perfect!!! All lovers of MM, MMF and even MF should read this book. It was the perfect balance of sex and story; and although I’ve read hotter ménage-scenes, I was blown away by this book nonetheless, since everything was handled so well! It is not easy to fit 3 love stories into one book, first there is the relationship between Dylan and Aidan, then there blooms this love between Dylan and Claire and then there is this strange bond between Aidan and Claire. And the author did magic in keeping everything on the realistic side. Sure, it had a bit of a fairytale ending, but what the hell? Sometimes, that’s exactly what you need to feed your romantic beast called heart.
The writing was excellent, it flowed effortlessly and the book had just the right amount of angst, sex, drama and love to make the perfect mix.
I rate “Hotter than ever” with 5+ stars and can recommend it to all lovers of erotica.
