It all started with a pinky swear…

Linden McGregor is tall, rugged, and gunslinger handsome; a helicopter pilot with a Scottish brogue and charm to spare. He’s also one of Stephanie Robson’s best friends and has fit into that box for as long as she’s known him.

But some relationships can’t be boxed, can’t be classified, can’t be tamed.

Back in their mid-twenties and tired of the competitive hit-or-miss dating scene of San Francisco, Steph and Linden made a pact to marry each other if neither one of them are in a serious relationship by the time they hit thirty.

It sounds like fun and games but as the years to thirty tick past and lovers come and go out of their lives, the pact becomes larger than life.
Sex is inevitable. Friendships are tested. Hearts are on the line.

The pact is about to change everything.

”Life follows many directions and hopefully, eventually, your mind and body and life and love, all catch up with each other”

6++ STARS!

First of all i want to start by saying that i actually haven’t read lots of best friends to lovers books. So far it’s been one, Whitney G Sincerely Carter and while that one was a great best friend to lovers this one was so much more to me. I don’t know, i guess is all Karina Halle’s doing. Is more how is written than anything else; every single page of The Pact is raw and real. Every single scenario in this book you can imagine it happening. Is like really watching this two best friends fighting the feelings towards each other all along. I loved this book. It grabbed my heart and squeezed hard at all my feelings.

Stephanie and Linden are not the kind of best friends that met each other when they were kids with all the bittersweet feelings that comes to with it. This two actually met each other as young adults. Is kinda hard to explain, this two spent too much time with the wrong people but i guess it made their relationship even stronger. They needed to be best friends first even tho they were attracted to each other for a long time. I loved, i absolutely adored Steph and Linden they were so real and beautiful and sexy and everything i have always really wanted in a best friends to lovers story. It felt so genuine it was hard to not think you were right there with them.

Moving up The Pact on my tbr list was one of the best decisions i have ever done, i was left wanting more and more i just couldn’t get enough of Linden McGregor. He is the kind of book boyfriend that you just close your eyes and imagine he is right there with you. But again he is a McGregor, we have Linden the one that started it all then we have Bram Linden’s older brother in The Offer and is not over yet there is more McGregor to come!

Everyone should read The Pact, hell! all Karina Halle’s books are one click, this woman can give you a sweet romance but she wont leave the passion and the heartache behind. Is purely awesomeness. I CANNOT RECOMMEND MCGREGOR BROTHERS HIGHLY ENOUGH!
