Rising is the fourth book in the Blue Phoenix series. It can be read as a standalone but contains minor spoilers for the other books in the series.

One song referenced a few times through the series is ‘Rising’, written by Jem and Dylan. Jem now has some of the lyrics tattooed on his arm. He also mentions the song when he talks to Ruby about a condition they share where they ‘see’ music as colour.
