Since the moment I read Tangled almost two years ago, I knew I’d love every book Emma would write. Her male POV are simply spectacular, but not only because she knows how men think and act, but also because her male characters are so well developed that you would love to get them out of the books and have an actual relationship with them. Well, at least that’s my case. I want to marry all of Emma’s men!
“I’m well-groomed, my chin is clean-shaven, and my black hair is slicked back at the sides in a way I’ve been told makes me look dangerous but professional. My suits are handmade. I wear shoes that cost more than your rent.”
Yep, that’s Drew! But let’s be honest, if he wasn’t like that, I’m sure half of us would have been annoyed with him and we’d have told Kate to go look for another man, because Drew wasn’t for her. But the truth is that Drew was the most perfect man for Kate. Only a man with the ego as big as Drew’s can handle a woman as badass as Kate.
“I want you to belong to me. And I want to be yours. I want to be the reason for your smiles. I want to spend the rest of my life listening to all your theories and teaching you the difference between a good movie and a bad one. I want to be eighty years old, holding your hand during couples skate—and I promise to love you every single moment from now until then.”
Matthew is the sweetest of all Emma’s men. He’s so amazing he made me like Delores! HaHaHa! Yes, I can’t help but to dislike her because there are so many books from Drew’s POV and they both dislike each other so much, that if they wouldn’t be already in relationships, I’d say Delores and Drew would end up together. -Yes, that’s a crazy theory-. Anyway, Matthew was just perfect for Delores. His sweet and caring heart was exactly what her broken heart needed.
“His jade eyes glitter with excitement and afternoon sun, framed by dense, surprisingly dark lashes that women would kill to have. A few rebel strands of thick, golden hair—Robert Redford, Legal Eagles kind of hair—fall over his intelligent brow. A Roman nose and high cheekbones give him a strong, noble look, but Stanton Shaw’s all man—not a hint of pretty boy here. I think my favorite part is his jaw. It’s porn worthy. Rugged and square with the perfect amount of scratchy, blond stubble to conjure images of sexy late mornings and warm beds.”
My sexy, stubborn and blind Stanton. Stanton as a teenager was great with his baby girl and his sweetheart, Jenny. And as an adult, Stanton was even better with Sofia! His charming, southern personality and his confident attitude were a perfect match for Sofia’s sassy and strong presence.
“I’m an organized guy; I like things a certain way—my way. Routine. Discipline. Neat and easy are words to live by. My mother always said I’d make a great military man, if it wasn’t for the authority factor. The only orders I follow are my own.”
Jake is the serious of Emma’s men. He’s so stern with hard on the exterior, but deep inside he has a soft spot. He’s a family man despite his claims of the contrary. He managed to fit Chelsea and all her nieces and nephews into his organized life. Jake was perfect for Chelsea because he represented a safety, steadiness and a future for her and her family.
“A romantic hero with a prosthetic leg would make for an interesting story.”
And that was exactly what happened. Brent is a funny, dreamy and self confident guy. He’s the one who believed in fate, in soulmates, in “saving the princess”. He was determined and persistent, which was perfect for Kennedy, because no other man would have done for her like what Brent did. They were equals in court, but when there were only the two of them, they were completely open and loved each other in ways unimaginable.
What they all have in common?
THEIR SEXPERTISE. Their sex drive, their willingness to give orgasms and pleasure without limits. Different tastes, but great in bed -or wherever place they are making love.
THEIR HEARTS. The way they love is so beautiful. Once they know they are in love, they fight for their women and show them they are the most important in their lives.
THEIR INTERNAL DIALOGUE: They are all hilarious!
THEY ARE ALL PERFECT BOOK BOYFRIENDS!
Appealed (The Legal Briefs #3)
When Brent Mason looks at Kennedy Randolph, he doesn’t see the awkward, sweet girl who grew up next door. He sees a self-assured, stunning woman…who wants to crush the most intimate – and prized – parts of his anatomy beneath the heels of her Christian Louboutins.
Brent has never let the loss of his leg in a childhood accident affect his ability to lead a fulfilling life. He sets high goals–and then he reaches them.
And now he has his sights set on Kennedy.
When Kennedy looks at Brent Mason, all she sees is the selfish, Abercrombie & Fitch catalogue-worthy teenager who humiliated her in high school to join the popular crowd. A crowd that made those years a living hell.
She’s not a lovesick social outcast anymore – she’s a DC prosecutor with a long winning streak behind her. Brent is the opposing attorney in her next case and she thinks it’s time to put him through a little hell of his own.
But things aren’t exactly working out that way.
Because every fiery exchange has her wondering if he’s as passionate in the bedroom as he is in the courtroom. Each argument and objection only makes him want her more. In the end, Brent and Kennedy may just find themselves in love…or in contempt of court.
APPEALED is a sexy, humorous romance about first crushes, second chances and the final verdict of the heart.
