Linda Kage is officially my bestie, hell! she’s been since Forbidden Men book one. I take my hat off to this woman every time. The Girl’s Got Secret was absolutely fantastic. The journey continues and this time is Asher’s story who me met in book 3, Prince of a Kiss.
For me this plot was one not easy to write even tho is Girl posing as a male is not your typical She’s the Man. A story like this needed to have that realistic tone it and The Girl’s Got Secrets is charming, funny, intriguing and absolutely heartwarming! one of the finest work in the Forbidden Men Series.
I always loved Asher, he was easy going, funny and charming but here i completely fell in love with him. His background story was sad and heartbreaking, he was like a lost puppy who just needed love. And i’m gonna admit yet again that Pick (Be My Hero) made me fall in love with him all over again and you’ll see why. In book 6 Worth It we were left with a little secret cliffhanger between this boys that gets revealed here and sets a new journey for both Pick and Asher.
REMY Curran, well she’s the man! and no in reference of the movie. This heroine NEVER gave up on her dream and that takes her towards a exciting path and along the way her dream becomes a new dream, that being Asher. She’s on the top of my favorite heroines even tho things got messy she always managed to stand tall and not give up, i love her.
As for the rest of the cast, my forbidden men and woman i was on complete bliss and Linda you made Mason and Sarah sad that’s all im saying. I fell even more in love with this series and that possible, Forbidden Men is a piece of my heart. And I’m ready for more… because there will be more right?!
If you haven’t read this series yet, then wait no more! You need this Forbidden Men in your life. I could recommend this as a standalone but after reading this i’m sure you’ll want to meet the rest of the gang so just grab Prince of A Kiss and continue from there! Linda Kage books are not to be missed.
