One night changed my life forever.

Beau Bennett has been my best friend since I can remember. He was my first crush before everything came crashing down, and now he wants more, but it's more than I can give him. Things are different now. I wish I could tell him why, but I can't.

I haven’t told anyone.

I never knew how much I really needed him until the day he left for college, and I was completely alone.

Then one day, Asher Hunt rides into town with his dark, captivating eyes and cocky grin. He doesn't care who I used to be, he's simply breathing life into what’s left. People warn me to stay away from him, but he helps me forget the pain that has held me hostage for so long; something I thought was impossible before he walked into my life.

I’ve been hurt.

I’ve been saved.

And I’ve found hope.

I thought my story was written that night, but now I know it was only a new beginning. Until one secret turns my world upside down…

Book and Audiobook Review: 10 stars

About the book:

Kate’s whole life changed in one night. One night that will haunt her forever.  One night that took everything away from her. One night that will lead her to her forever. This is a story about someone taking what’s your, about losing yourself and fighting to get back to the life that was before. Learning to deal with you fears, your memories, to love and to lose and to find that love again.

My review:

The book is called When it rains, and it sure does rains. Tears will be raining down your cheeks from chapter one to the very last end. I have read so so many books and this one is without any doubt what so ever in the top 5 most emotional books I will ever read.

I will remember it forever and love it as long.

The writing was so good and with such quality. The story was flawless, it was THE  story for me. I died a thousand times during this read, and just thinking about it makes me sad all over again but for all the good reasons.

My heart broke into that many pieces that no amount of superglue will ever be able to repair it. A piece of my soul died with this book. Somewhere in the middle I was laying awake in bed waiting for the sun to rise and listening this epic story and sobbing like in my darkest moments. I couldn’t have stopped the tears if I wanted to.

About the narrator:

Jennifer Mack did a such an amazing job with narrating this great book. Her expressions of the rollercoaster of emotions were off the charts! She made this book alive, its characters rise to their fullest. Every high and low was on spot and in the right moment.
