It's not just the motion of the ocean, ladies. It's definitely the SIZE of the boat too.
And I've got both firing on all cylinders. In fact, I have ALL the right assets. Looks, brains, my own money, and a big cock.
You might think I'm an asshole. I sound like one, don’t I? I'm hot as sin, rich as heaven, smart as hell and hung like a horse.
Guess what? You haven't heard my story before. Sure, I might be a playboy, like the NY gossip rags call me. But I’m the playboy who’s actually a great guy. Which makes me one of a kind.
The only trouble is, my dad needs me to cool it for a bit. With conservative investors in town wanting to buy his flagship Fifth Avenue jewelry store, he needs me not only to zip it up, but to look the part of the committed guy. Fine. I can do this for Dad. After all, I’ve got him to thank for the family jewels. So I ask my best friend and business partner to be my fiancée for the next week. Charlotte’s up for it. She has her own reasons for saying yes to wearing this big rock.
And pretty soon all this playing pretend in public leads to no pretending whatsoever in the bedroom, because she just can’t fake the kind of toe-curling, window-shattering orgasmic cries she makes as I take her to new heights between the sheets.
But I can’t seem to fake that I might be feeling something real for her.
What the fuck have I gotten myself into with this…big rock?

Jenn’s book review: 5+++ stars
About the book:
Spencer and Charlotte are longtime friends and they run a business together. Spencer needs to change his playboy image to look like a good boy at least for a short while to show his father’s potential business partner that he is all that, every mother in law’s dream. He gets this brilliant idea to have Charlotte play his fiancé and fool everyone around them.
Can they fool everyone as planned or are they just fooling themselves instead? It sounds good right? Nothing can go wrong with that perfect plan. Or can it? Will they pull it off? Or will it just ruin the best thing they had, their precious friendship?
My review:
Seriously what do you expect for me to write now? So far EVERY single book from Mrs. Blakely has lived up to every expectation I could have imagined and beyond that. So this one is really no exception!
I freaking LOOOOOVED this book!!!! Did I say I L O V E D it? =))))) I just wanted to make sure 😉
Spencer is a such fun guy that every girl should have one like him in their life. I would loved to have a friend like him…or wait….I do have one maybe that’s why I loved Spencer so much :). He is so full of himself and believes he has everything a girl could want. Charlotte is such a sweetheart that has her head and heart on the right places and takes no BS from no one. The two of them are perfect together, as friends, as fake lovers, as real lovers it doesn’t matter, they just WORK!
I enjoyed reading this book from page to page. The story was a pure joy and I could picture how it would play out and was not disappointed for a second. It has everything you need in a feel good book. There is love, humor, true friendship, family ties and let’s not forget hotter than fire sex 😉
You should not miss this one I tell you that much! Go grab your copy and read it, laugh, melt away while chasing for love

Angy’s Book Review: 5+++ funny sexy and huge stars
Lauren and her MEN! Oh. My. God. One of these days I’m just going to die, literally die with one of Lauren’s books. Big Rock is so different from all the books I’ve read from Lauren. Of course it’s sexy, has amazing characters—New book boyfriend and book girlfriend alert—and the plot has the perfect touch of everything, it’s funny, romantic, erotic and creates the perfect expectation of what’s coming next for Spencer and Charlotte. And… here is what is different from the other books: IT IS ALL FROM SPENCER’S POV! I was so excited when I found out about that, because A MAN’S POV!
Spencer sells himself as the ultimate playboy in NY! The prologue is like a letter of presentation, a very funny way to make you fall in love with him, at least that was my case. But the truth is that as I was reading this book, I found out Spencer wasn’t the biggest asshole in the universe, he was cocky, yes, and a little full of himself and all, but he had the greatest heart in the world. Did I mention that he is a little dense too? Well, thanks to his best friend Charlotte, his father, his sister Harper and his other best friend Nick, he could find the correct way to fix things up at the end of the book.
Charlotte was a great female character. She’s smart, beautiful and very funny. I loved her friendship with Spencer from the beginning and then when they started faking their relationship, I loved her even more. I loved how much they started breaking the “ground rules” one by one *chuckles* so funny, it was inevitable, but I’m glad they did, although there was one particular rule they didn’t break *shakes head laughing* my pervy mind wanted them so much to break that rule HaHaHa.
I loved the secondary characters too, especially Harper. She’s so funny and awesome. I think I’ll read more about her in the future—maybe this time my theory will be correct.
In summary, Big Rock—You can change the R for the C if you want *wink*—was PERFECTION!
PS: Connections, connections… I love searching for connections in Lauren’s books. This time I only catch the connection with the Purple Snow Globe *waves to Julia and Clay*. And of course, Nick was introduced. I can’t wait to read Mr. Orgasm.

Vivian’s Book Review
Hilarious. Sexy. And so much fun! BIG ROCK is a “friends to lovers” type of story, but let me tell you, it is like no other “friends to lovers” book I’ve read. Spencer and Charlotte’s story is completely unique and ridiculously entertaining. This book was clearly a projection of Lauren’s more hilarious side that her fans get to see on her facebook posts *lol*
It was pure genius that Lauren wrote this book all in the male POV. That right there made for an interesting read in of itself! I think it’s a true testament to an author’s ability to write, if he or she can write a complete book in the opposite POV and Lauren NAILED it with BIG ROCK! She was able to depict Spencer’s thoughts and actions to a T! I never at one point thought, “Hmm…that was kind of a ‘girly’ thought.”
For me, this book was like no other Lauren Blakely novel and honestly, BIG ROCK is my favorite of hers to date. I was completely immersed in everything Spencer and Charlotte from page one! Reading Spencer’s inner dialogue was downright comical! Between his inner struggles with his growing *ahem* feelings for his best friend and then his and Charlotte’s friendship in general, it was a HOOT of a read! I loved every silly, awkward and sexy moment between Spencer and Charlotte. There definitely were no dull moments between those two! I felt like right from the beginning I “knew” these characters. I didn’t have to guess what they’re horrid past story was or what made them who they are, they were just Spencer and Charlotte and they were completely lovable and I enjoyed every minute of their story <3
One more thing…OMG, his conversations with his cat! BAHAHA! Oh Fiddo…if only you could talk, Spencer would be in SO MUCH trouble!
“Fido and I have an understanding: I feed him, and he doesn’t c*ck-block me.”
And my favorite:
This is the end to my Saturday night. My cat has watched me whack off to a vision of my best friend. “Don’t say a word,” I hiss. He looks away, lifting his chin haughtily. But he’ll keep my secret. I’ll keep his, too, the f*cking little voyeur.
BAHAHA! I think Lauren enjoys bringing her love for animals into her stories and that’s one more reason I find her books entertaining…it’s like the animals become their own characters and in BIG ROCK, Fido was a special fun bonus
5 “BIG” Stars 😉
