From New York Times and USA Today Bestseller, Vi Keeland, comes a sexy new novel.
The first time I met Brody Easton was in the men’s locker room.
It was my first interview as a professional sportscaster.
The famed quarterback decided to bare all.
And by all, I don’t mean he told me any of his secrets.
No. The arrogant ass decided to drop his towel, just as I asked the first question. On camera.
The Super Bowl MVP quickly adopted a new hobby—screwing with me.
When I pushed back, he shifted from wanting to screw with me, to wanting to screw me.
But I don’t date players.
And it’s not because I’m one of the few women working in the world of professional football.
I’d date an athlete.
It’s the other kind of player I don’t date.
You know the type. Good looking, strong, cocky, always looking to get laid.
Brody Easton was the ultimate player.
Every woman wanted to be the one to change him.
But the truth was, all he needed was a girl worth changing for.
Turned out, I was that girl.
Let’s face it. It never is.
There’s a story between once upon a time and happily ever after…
And this one is ours.

Caro’s Book Review: 5 stars
“The Baller” is the story of NFL-Player and womanizer Brody and the feisty journalist Delilah. They stereotype each other from their first encounter – but soon realize, that there is more to the other than what’s their first impression. But can a relationship between a journalist and a very publicity shy sports-icon really work out?
Wow, I honestly have to admit, that I wouldn’t have anticipated this book to have that much depth. I cried as much as I laughed. And although, “The Baller” was more on the rom-com side than the angsty, I was highly satisfied with how everything was balanced out. Vi’s writing is amazing, her characters were great and the sex-scenes… No. Words! They were hot and really fit into the whole of the book. I won’t reveal more about the story itself here, because it would spoiler too much – but I can tell you, get started with it, best completely blind and just enjoy the book and Brody in all its glory 😉
All in all, I rate “The Baller” with 5 stars and can recommend it not only to all fans of sports-themed romance novels, but to everyone – the story has so many layers.
Claudia’s Book Review: 5 stars
I really love sports romance and since I knew about this book I wanted to read it, just the alluring book cover got my attention and then the blurb made me want to read it. But it was the plot and the characters that had me hostage until the end.
This book made me laugh, cry and love more sport guys, they’re just not sexy gods, yeah sometimes they’re manwhores but they also have a heart and they’re waiting for ME, I mean the right one 😉
Brody Easton is a NFL player, cocky and sexy as hell. He’s been interviewed by Delilah Maddox after he won a game, they were live broadcasting and he decided to drop the towel while she was asking him some questions. I don’t have to explain how distracted this was to Delilah (“He was dangling in the wind…..how low the thing dangled.”) That is how their interaction began, the chemistry was undeniable and they built a strong connection.
Brody and Delilah, they both once found love and it didn’t end well so it was difficult for them to give their heart out. They were willing to give it a try but when the past return it’s hard not to run away in order to avoid be broken again.
This is a must read, you have to meet Brody not because he’s hot and has a delectable body, he also have a heart that wants to love and be loved, he’s a great guy and he will own you since the very first moment he drop that towel 😉 hahaha (I must warn you that I already dibs on him so I will have to share)
Amazing love story, Vi taught us that we have to believe in second chances and that our heart is too big to love more than once.
