Lily LeBlanc is Sunny’s best friend and she finally dumped her asshole of a boyfriend after seven year long-term relationship and finds herself in a situation where she is so attracted to Randy that all common sense leaves her and she can’t even think straight.
That must be the reason why she went along with Randy’s plan of them being “puck” buddies and enjoy each other whenever they get together.
He was supposed to be her rebound guy. She was supposed to satisfy his need of being with a girl, that wasn’t only with him as a hockey player, but with the REAL him. But sometimes casual get together doesn’t work and feelings start to sneak up on to you before you know it and once you become aware of it….It just might be too late.

Helena Hunting did it AGAIN!!!! The woman is a brilliant genius with a humor that can entertain whole nations. She must have lots of fun writing these books. I want to get inside her head and see all the amazingness happening piece by piece. Every book I read from her seems to be better than the previous one. I never ever thought that anyone would be able to throw Alex from his throne….but Randy did it. I might just ask HH for Randy’s number so I can ask him if he would teach me to finally put those skates I bought 7 years ago on ice where they belong instead of a basement closet.
I hesitated to start reading this book because I just had that feeling it will make me drop everything, and I mean literally every single thing. Ok I was there for the kids when they needed me but that was IT. I traded sleep, food even alone time with hubs for these amazing, fun, sexy lines.
THIS BOOK IS HOOOOOOOOOT!!! It set my body and mind on FIRE. At some point I was all over my hubs and he just looked at me and said “Oohhh what are you reading now?” Well wouldn’t he like to know 😉
To say that I loved everything about this book wouldn’t be enough. This book needs to be read over and over again to savor it as much as possible.
There is no mistake on who wrote this book. It has HH written all over it. There is talent, there is fun, there is a perfect pace, and enough attention not just to main characters but to the whole PUCKED family. Every character is so nicely developed and has their own special “IT” to them. I could be writing this review whole night but I am afraid even internet would collapsed if I continue. Trust me people, you need to read this book, you want to read this book, you will crave it for every chapter you read in this deliciously hilarious book.
Thank you Helena for giving us another piece of your beautiful mind. Hands down this book is the best one so far!

This is my second Helena Hunting novel and I have to say THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE!! Now let me explain, yes this is book 3 in the PUCKED series…I read book 1 (PUCKED) and loved it, but I will admit, book 2 PUCKED UP, didn’t really intrigue me. *sad day*. I wasn’t overly interested in the character “Buck”, so I have wavered on reading his book, but now with that being said, after reading PUCKED OVER, I am slightly more intrigued and may go back to read it. Now, PUCKED OVER that was a completely different story…I mean look at that cover!! Enough said…*lol*I really need to get my hands on a paperback copy! *wink*
PUCKED OVER has this hilarious, sexy, awkward element that I’ve never read in any other book before. The story is entirely unique utterly entertaining. There’s no better way to describe Randy and Lily’s relationship other than “rebound f*ck buddies” and man do they get it on…A LOT! *fans self*. Their encounters are comically awkward, but yet sexy and packed full of lust. It was fascinating reading about their naiveness to their growing feelings for each other. It was like they knew deep down inside that things between them were more than just s*x, but neither one of them wanted to acknowledge it, so reading about that transition from “f*ck buddies” to “lovers” was both amusing and wonderful to read about. *swoon*. And the dual POV’s was PERFECT! Helena definitely knows how to write in both female and male POV’s.
Helena Hunting is easily becoming the funniest authors I’ve ever read! The humor that she puts into her characters personalities and the story line is downright hilarious! This book is packed full of LOL moments. I would recommend this series to anyone that is looking for a good laugh and a fun love story.
Note: PUCKED OVER is a spinoff and I would consider it to be a standalone. Yes, you will get some spoilers from the previous 2 books (PUCKED and PUCKED UP), but it can be read by itself. BUT, with that being said, if you want the added bonus of reading about the secondary characters, I would recommend reading them in order…it’s all up to you!
