Thanks to one mysterious member who motivates her and inspires her, Lacy's career is back on track. But is she ready to meet her sexy musical muse...face to face?

HE MAKES HER HEART SKIP A BEAT
Eli is definitely interested in hooking up with Lacy, aka "LoveCoda." But between writing her new album and his band's success, they can't find the time to face the music-or each other-about their burgeoning online romance. All that changes when Eli and Lucy get booked on tour together. In person, the attraction is all too real and explosive. They both should walk away, but once they are in each other's arms, there is no turning back...

About the book:

This story is about Lacy Dawson that we saw a little bit of in Miss Match as Andrea Dawson’s sister. Lacy has been through a lot ever since her fiancée committed suicide which has reflected on her work as well as hers none exciting social life. She hasn’t been able to write a single song, her inspiration seemed to have left her….maybe for good. She found a friend in one guy she was talking to on a website created for musicians. The trick with that website was it offered full anonymity for all members. No one was allowed to revel their true identity. They came so close to each other, He was Lacy’s support for months and something bigger then friendship was happening between them. They decide to meet up at Christmas Eve and see where it leads them.

Not long after that decision Lacy got unexpected opportunity of the lifetime. The one that could be her carriers salvation. She was to be an opening act for a popular band on their tour. And there she hits if off with one member of the band and neither one of them can resist the attraction and connection they feel for one another.

Will Lacy wait for her “online boyfriend” whom she never even seen a picture of?

Or will she take a chance on a real life person and go for that relationship instead?

My review:

To be 100% completely honest at the first half of the book I just wasn’t feeling it :( Nothing special was happening, my brain was thinking let’s just get this read over with. But as they say all good things are worth waiting for!

After 60% the story kicked off and I was on alert for every chapter. A story about overcoming a loss and being able to get pass the tragedy and sadness that has fallen over you and find your way to the light and love again.

And I am completely in love with Eli Frank. He is no alpha possessive billionaire that wants his demands to be fulfilled at any costs. He is the sweetest, dearest and most caring book boyfriend that crossed my way in months. He is the one who will take a step back and abandon his own happiness in order for the one he loves to get what she wants, or at least what they both believed she wanted. My absolute favorite part was the last chapter. Just take a look at that beautiful song at the end of this review and you will fall for him as well.

The duo Laurelin Mcgee did a good job with this one because it didn’t had the usual plot. It was actually refreshing to read a book with its focus on music and people who create it. When I closed my eyes and tried to imagine the situation in question I wandered away to Nashville TV Show and I saw Scarlet and Gunnar. They are my perfect dream cast for Lacy and Eli!!!!

Eli’s song to Lacy

Seems I’m not the person I thought I was
Scared, coward
Sitting on the sidelines of my life
Didn’t know it mattered
Till I met you
Now I want to be
Anything you need
I watched you walk away
But I’ve got something more to say
There you are
Here I am
I got nothing to offer
Except for my hand
You wanted a fight
So I’m taking a stand
For you

Seems you’re not the person I thought you were
Scared, wary looking for the answers I can’t give
I knew that I would love you when I met you
What I didn’t know was how much I’d hurt to let you go
You tried to walk away
But I’ve got something more to say

There you are
Here I am
I got nothing to offer
Except for my hand
You wanted a fight
So I’m taking a stand
For you
