If Clipped Wings was amazing, Inked Armor was OUTSTANDING. Tenley and Hayden’s love story was perfectly beautiful. They both were just meant to be together, they understood what they went through in their pasts, and they were great support for one another. I loved this book so much because Tenley and Hayden had closure with their pasts and finally could start a life together, full of love, tattoos and the hottest sex ever.
I loved repeating this audiobook, not only because I missed these amazing characters with an angsty and unperfect life, but also because I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything Helena writes. She knows how to create the best characters with the most surprising and heartbreaking pasts—I’m still shocked about what happened to Hayden, even the second time I read it—and of course, she knows how to make you fall in love with these beautiful people. I want to hold them and protect them forever.
Jason Carpenter and Elizabeth Louise’ performances were just as perfect as in the first audiobook of the series, especially Jason. I loved his inflexions, his change of tones, and his pronunciation. I even changed the speed settings to 1x—I usually listen in 1,25x—in order to savour his beautiful voice and experience all the feels with Hayden, my poor, poor baby.
This audiobook was a great companion to this perfect book. 200% recommended.

Helena Hunting has inked her way into my heart and she is staying there along with her great characters!!!!
If there was anything that I missed in book 1 Clipped Wings this one sure hit the jackpot BIG TIME: This book has everything a good book should have.
The way Hayden’s and Tenley’s lives developed and their relationship survived its fall and grew stronger and stronger. Tenley finally set things right with her past and can move on with her life, new life together with Hayden. But all is not as easy as it might seem. Hayden’s own past is coming back to haunt him one way or another. And he can’t ignore it anymore and has to deal with it before it destroys his relationship with Tenley and his new life he fought so hard for.
It was amazing to read this part, every single page held my attention to the very last end. It wasn’t just H and T that brought this story to life, it was really lovely to read about and get to know their friends on a more personal level as well. Writing was flawless as expected from this author so no disappointment there.

What more to say about Jason Carpenter and Elizabeth Louise than I did before? They are talented people who bring every story to life to the fullest and every emotion feels as real as it gets. I fell in love with these characters with their help. Keep up the good work guys
