There are three things you need to know about Fiona Archer… I would tell you what they are, but then I’d have to kill you.

But I can tell you that Fiona’s husband—the always irrepressible and often cantankerous Greg Archer—is desperately in love with his wife. He aches for her when they are apart, and is insatiable when they are together. Yet as the years pass, Greg has begun to suspect that Fiona is a ninja. A ninja mom. A ninja wife. A ninja friend. After fourteen years of marriage, Greg is trying not to panic. Because Fiona’s talent for blending in is starting to resemble fading away.

However, when unexpected events mean Fiona must take center stage to keep her family safe, her response stuns everyone—Greg most of all. It seems like Greg’s wish has come true.

Except… not.

When all is said and done, can Greg handle this new version of his wife? Will his irrepressible cantankerousness push her away? Or can the couple find a way forward without either being forced to step back into the shadows?

This is a full length, 100k word novel, and is the 5th book in the Knitting in the City Series. All books in the series can be read as a standalone except book #1.5

review

”A relationship is made up of burdens, and the two people within the relationship have different strengths and weakness, abilities and talents. Burdens are weightless, worlds change, and love endures when both people are contributing to their maximum.”

5 Absolutely fantastic stars…

5 Best read of 2016 stars…

5 I can’t love this book enough stars…

You name it! Happily Ever Ninja is absolutely THE BEST. This book was written with lots of wonderful things. I loved it, i just can honestly say that i loved it. This the  reason why Penny Reid is my favorite author; It was like rainbows and chocolate with a doze of real life. If you have read Knitting in the City Series then you’ll know Fiona, She was the married mother gal of the group when Janie, Sandra, Elizabeth and Ashley were finding their true love.

Happily Ever Ninja is a book about life, trust, patience, fear, strength, friendship, marriage and love. For me it was everything but ordinary because it spoke to my life, and a book that speaks to you is anything but ordinary. Sometimes we think we know everything but really in life is important to keep an open mind to almost everything around you. I’m not married so i couldn’t say: ‘hey i know what’s like’ but Happily Ever Ninja is like my ultimate guide. Is not a guide to a perfect marriage, is guide to surviving marriage; to learn who you really are in the relationship, to embrace partnership, to learn is okay to need.

Being a woman is extraordinary, we are capable of being just fine on our own without a man, with ups and downs yes but we were created to need, to love and be loved and Happily Ever Ninja lets us understand that needing a man is completely normal. Society confuses both man and woman, is fine to be on our own but it not always works that way, we are meant to be partners. Also is important to know that a man needs to be love a certain way, when you make your man feel like a superhero you’re loving him well; that’s another aspect in our life that Happily Ever Ninja touches.

Happily ever afters comes with sadness, anger, frustration and even married there are times you’ll feel lonely but if we voice this, we help our partner understand, it will make them feel needed for more than doing laundry. Man can be clueless, often forget things but honestly they are not perfect and nobody is, they are just man and sometimes they need us more than we need them.

All of this is Happily Ever Ninja, it captures how often life can be not perfect even with a happily ever after. I’m so grateful i read this, Penny Reid’s books never fail to make happy.

”I wish you could share your sorrows with me, allow me to carry your burdens. Because I want to.’

Now allow me to gush about the characters…. GREG ARCHER. HE IS IRREVOCABLY MINE! This is the kind of man you want as the father of your children, this is the kind of man you want as a husband. Greg is my weakness, i truly loved everything about him even his flaws. He was passionate and the center of his universe was truly his wife and children. He had moments when seriously i just rolled my eyes at him but i loved him even when he frustrated me. I love it when you can’t stop loving a character even when they are real jerks sometimes. Greg made me laugh, like seriously i started laughing out loud uncontrollably, and that made me love him even more.

No. Dirty robots can’t even dance the robot, but they can do the skunk.”
”What’s the skunk?” Grace asked.
”It’s where you stand really, really still… and the you fart.”
Both children launched into a fit of hysterical laughter, with Grace exclaiming, ”That’s not a dance!”

IS IMPOSSIBLE NOT TO LOVE HIM!

Meanwhile what really made Greg, Greg was FIONA. I honestly saw myself like her in few years from now. Like seriously you just want to be like her in a few years from now. Fiona endured hard times and that made her stronger but at the same time vulnerable. I think all of us who had been in a relationship before has a little Fiona inside. Too strong too ask, too strong to show vulnerability but needing all the same.

”We have been married for fourteen years. He is my soul.”

Happily Ever Ninja will open your eyes to things you couldn’t think were possible or it could even answer questions you’ve been asking yourself many times over. I can’t recommend this book enough as well as the series, Happily Ever Ninja is the finest work in the Knitting in the City Series it truly can’t be missed.

Side Note: You don’t have read the whole series in order to read HEN but i truly recommend you to read the novella prequel Ninja At First Sight first.  Now for those who have read the series… SOMEONE IS HAVING A BABY! i’d tell you but then i’d l have to kill  you so JUST READ THIS!!

Passionate, endearing, touching and completely entertaining, you’ll fall in love with Happily Ever Ninja since the very first page!

”Each marriage is a living thing, just as complex as the two individuals within it.”
