What started with three college besties and a wild night and Vegas turned into a whole lot more, and now it’s London’s turn.
London Hughes is very content to surf daily, tend bar, hang out with her group of friends, and slowly orient herself in the years after college. Everything’s going great and according to the non-plan.
But when a wave knocks her for a loop one morning, then Luke Sutter’s flirtatious smile knocks her for another that evening, she veers slightly off course…and into his path. Sure, he’s a total player, but the Why not—it’s only one night is a persistent voice in her ear.
For his part, Luke’s been on hookup autopilot for so long that he rarely ever pauses to consider what he’s doing. But after an amazing time with London, he realizes that he hasn’t been moving on from a devastating heartbreak so much as he’s been drifting to wherever—and whomever—the current takes him. With London he wants more.
Every relationship involves two people…plus their pasts. And as much as she enjoys her fling with Luke, when London learns about his past—more specifically, who’s in it—everything becomes the brand of complicated she strives to avoid. It’s up to Luke then to change some things in order to try and ensure he’s not something she’ll outright avoid as well.
For two people ambivalent about dating and love, they sure get naked around each other an awful lot . . .

Angy’s Book and Audiobook Review: 5+++ stars
There’s a saying in Spanish that applies perfectly to this book: “El que rie al ultimo, rie mejor” (He who laughs last laughs best). Luker & Logan are now my favorite couple of the Wild Seasons Series. They were so authentic and real, not that the previous couples weren’t, but seriously, Luke and London were great.
London is Lola’s roommate and Ruby’s best friend. The London I saw in the previous books was a quiet and almost bitter girl, with a wall around herself that would only let in a few people. I was almost hesitant to read her book, because of her bitterness and because I knew I could fall in love with Luke, Mia’s exboyfriend, who didn’t have the best reputation among the gang. But… I can’t say no to a Christina Lauren book—or audiobook for that matter, especially if it was narrated by Deacon Lee and Olivia Song. So I started reading it—and listening to it, and OH. MY. GOD. This book was pure perfection, so perfect I even listened to it twice, because I needed more Luker and Logan—You’ll understand why I’m calling them like that when you read the book, and I’m telling you, READ IT! Because it is so good!!
So, the plot in this book is funny, sexy, romantic. It’s full of friendship, which was what I loved the most, and of course the main topic of this book is “Don’t give up hope on love”. London and Luke both had their reasons for their actions. London was closed off to everyone, and Luker was whoring himself all around San Francisco. I won’t tell you their reasons, it would be a huge spoiler, but I have to tell you, they are rightful—I could say I relate to them both, and maybe that’s why I love this book so much. Anyway…. they met at the bar where London works and they had a super hot one night stand, or it was supposed to be a one night stand, but it easily transformed into something more meaningful. Their friendship was refreshing, truthful and they knew how to had so much fun together. Like I said before, you all HAVE to read this book. It could be read standalone, but it would be great if you read the previous books of the series, so you can enjoy the cameos of Harlow, Mia, Ansel, Lola and Oliver.
Deacon Lee and Olivia Song’s performances were awesome. This audiobook made the book better. Deacon and Olivia brought to life their characters in the best way possible. Their voices matched their personalities, and also, when they were talking for other characters, they did it very well. I loved the second chapter so much, Deacon did a great entrance with it. All and all, the audiobook was a perfect companion to Wicked Sexy Liar, if possible get both versions so you can live the sexiness and awesomeness of this amazing story.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention… What started in Vegas, ended up in Vegas! Great epilogue, Christina Lauren! It was perfect!
Jenn’s Audiobook Review: 5 stars
I don’t know if I would call Luke a liar but damn he sure is a sexy, sexy, sexy man *sighing* I can really say without any doubt what so ever that my love for this book is as real as it gets! Luke and London’s AKA Logan’s story was captivating, fun and sexy from the start. How London was running away from any chance of a fresh start with someone new because of her past hunting her thoughts and keeping her heart locked away. And then there is Luke, suppressing his own moving on from the past that should have been his future. A future he was imagining before he met London. It started like hot casual one night stand, turn into two night stand, to three night stand until none of them could run and hide from the emotions both of them were feeling.
London tried her best to fight this relationship from happening but thankfully Luke wasn’t a give up guy and kept chasing her even when all hope was lost. If he couldn’t have her love, he sure was going to give it his best to have her friendship at least. And we all know that the greatest loves grow stronger and deeper from the most solid friendships. It doesn’t hurt their case that the sexual chemistry they had was hard to ignore and had its own life.
This book was really well written and easy to get into and connect with the characters. These almost 10 hours of listening was a pure joy and I am very pleased with it overall.
The narrators, Deacon Lee and Olivia Song, made this book alive to its fullest potential. Couldn’t have wished for better choices to narrate this book. Their voices were perfect for these roles and the emotions they portrayed really did a great deal for the story and its plot. Job well done guys.
