The ninth work in the New York Times and #1 internationally bestselling series that started with Beautiful Bastard. In this e-novella, Will Sumner and Hanna Bergstrom (from Beautiful Player) find that a wedding and everlasting love were just the beginning.

One Player tamed. One nerd girl satisfied. And one more major life decision to make. When Will fell for Hanna, her quirky sense of humor and fierce dedication to her career were part of the attraction. (Not to mention her coy newbie attitude toward sex and her willingness to let him teach her everything.) But when the job offers start rolling in for her—and oh, they do—Hanna has trouble deciding what she wants, where they should live, and how much she should burden Will with the decision. Magic between the sheets is only one part of a relationship...getting on the same page is quite another altogether.

Angy’s Book Review: 5 Stars

Will and Hanna are BACK!!

I got ready for this book—as I always did for the Beautiful Bastard Series books—, I re-listened Beautiful Player, Beautiful Beginning—because this is when Will proposed— and re-read the outtakes in CL’s website (The Living Situation Negotiation, How Jensen Found Out, and Hanna & Will Outtake #1). So in only a few days I was utterly and completely #Sumnerized and ready for Hanna and Will’s wedding. And Oh. My. God. I LOVED EVERY WORD OF IT!

This short novella features one crazy wedding, one crazier post celebration with the best group of friends ever—and O.M.G. there’s a moment in this particular celebration that had me screaming of excitement for a drunk request of Hanna’s Bwahahahahah GO GIRL!—and the drama over adjusting their lives together. I won’t give much details because you’ll have to enjoy it all by yourselves, but I can tell you that this novella is worth getting, reading and listening to because I’m sure the audiobook will be awesome as well.

I enjoyed every moment of this book, even the annoying moments. Don’t get me wrong, I loved it all, but I wanted to smack some sense into Hanna’s stubborn head but thank God it wasn’t necessary… Will fucked her so thoroughly that she finally did the right thing. Did I say fuck? WOW *fan self*, the sex between these two was as intense and awesome as always. I think it was even better now… The experience brings gratifying orgasms for both of them.

I loved the cameo of all the other characters. All of them. Bennett & Chloe, Max & Sarah and of and George. They all were so awesome and drunk in this novella. I keep wishing a spin off for George! HE DESERVES HIS HEA.

No, I’ll be as bossy as Hanna, and i’ll tell you: GO READ BEAUTIFUL BOSS NOW! You will love it!

Vivian’s Book Review: 5+ Beautiful stars

Will & Hanna are back!!!!

“How many people find the person they ache to touch, to be near, to belong to? How many people marry their best friend, the person they admired most in the whole world?” –Will.

How many times have you read a book and at the end of that book you find yourself craving more? More of their HEA. More of the *ahem* sexy time between them. More of the adventures between those 2 characters. Well in BEAUTIFUL BOSS we get that and then some!

This was truly the classic Will and Hanna novel. Christina Lauren brought back their silliness, their playfulness and their scorching intimate encounters. For such a short novella, it was packed full of steamy scenes between Will and Hanna. In true newlywed fashion, they did not disappoint *wink*and by no means were the scenes over top/overdone or distracted from the plot and meaning of the book…they fit perfectly into the storyline and added to the dynamic of their relationship.

My overall favorite aspect of this novella was the realistic and practicality of it all. We get to see a completely different side to Will and Hanna throughout BEAUTIFUL BOSS. The Will and Hanna that us readers grew to know and love are like any other couple starting out in a relationship…their in that “honeymoon faze”, as I like to call it, but BEAUTIFUL BOSS is the what happens when life kicks in and life changing decisions have to occur faze of a relationship. That faze throws a wrench in anyone’s perfectly constructed life and Will and Hanna are no different. They have always been open with each other and had excellent communication, but with all these new life obstacles happening in their life now (new marriage, new career, moving, etc) they have to learn how to “roll with the punches”, so to speak and to communicate on a different level than before. We get to see how they handle and balance these new challenges in BEAUTIFUL BOSS. “It would be fine. We’d take this one step a time—one interview at a time—and it would work out. New job, new state, new marriage.” –Hanna.

“There was no way to mess this up. Even if we didn’t get married tomorrow, you’re the love of my life. I’m with you until we both die, at the same time, when I am one hundred and you are ninety-three.” –Will.

Will, Will, Will…where to begin with him. *swoon-worthy* as usual. We get to see a more vulnerable Will in this book. He is still very much the Will be came to love in BEAUTIFUL PLAYER. He is 100% supportive and behind Hanna in this new adventure they’re on, but he learns quickly that he doesn’t necessarily want to “share” Hanna with all the external elements in life, especially her job. This is a struggle for him to come to terms with and accept because her ambitions for her job have always been something her admired and loved about Hanna…now he has to come to terms with his new feelings and be able to communicate those feelings to Hanna without hurting her. “…I was growing more desperate for her every day. I had her. I lived with her. I married her. But my feelings for Hanna were foreign to me in their intensity, and the sheer unknown of our future left me feeling unsteady.” – Will. Hanna on the other hand, was very much reverting to her old former self and internalizing everything. They both had to learn how to express their thoughts and concerns in a whole new way otherwise it was going to start drawing a wedge into the new marriage.

Any and ALL Christina Lauren fans MUST read BEAUTIFUL BOSS! It exceeded my expectations and I’m SO thankful that they took the time to write this novella for their fans. *happy dance* I wouldn’t be opposed to more of Will and Hanna in the future!
