I was born a fighter. Abandoned by my parents, I spent my life forging my own path—one guided by my fists and paved with pain.
Untouchable in the ring, I destroyed everyone who faced me, but that’s where my victories ended. Outside the ropes, I repeatedly failed the few people who loved me. Including my best friend, Liv James—the one person I’d die to protect.
Even though I didn’t deserve her, Liv never stopped believing in me. Never gave up. Never let go. After all, she understood what I’d lost, because she’d lost it too.
Liv was everything to me, but she was never truly mine.
That was going to change.
I lost my first love, but I refused to lose my soulmate.
Now, I’m on the ropes during the toughest battles of my life.
Fighting to be the man she deserves.
Fighting the solitude of our pasts.
Fighting for her.

“Fighting Solitude” is the story of the third and youngest Page-Brother, Quarry. He has a best friend since childhood, Liv, but one day, they have a big fallout and their friendship is in shambles. When Liv finally decides to forgive Q for his mistake, there is someone else in his life, who can either threaten their friendship further or make it as strong as never before…
Ever since the first book in this ON THE ROPES-Series “Fighting Silence”, I love all three Page-Brothers. Those books are not only about the romance but also about the family-bond between the brothers and then later also between their women. Speaking of romance, Aly Martinez definitely knows how to pull at your heartstrings AND how to make you jump your spouse!!! The chemistry in all three books is off the charts and the emotions packed me full force. Her writing surely is a big plus in this regard, it totally fitted each and every character – even the male parts, which are always a bit of a crucial part in a dual point novel for me personally. But Martinez did everything right. For better or worse, there were some teeny tiny parts, that were over the top and I wanted to slap the female MC a time or two, but that’s only another proof of how much I FELT for the characters!
All in all, I rate “Fighting Solitude” with 5 stars and I hope we will get to read more about the Page-Family in the future!
This is a standalone novel in a series with HEA and mature scenes. Each book can be read as a standalone, but I advise to read them in order, beginning with “Fighting Silence”, “Fighting Shadows” and then “Fighting Solitude”.
