Can your favorite hockey players finish their first season together undefeated?
Five months in, NHL forward Ryan Wesley is having a record-breaking rookie season. He's living his dream of playing pro hockey and coming home every night to the man he loves–Jamie Canning, his longtime best friend turned boyfriend. There's just one problem: the most important relationship of his life is one he needs to keep hidden, or else face a media storm that will eclipse his success on the ice.
Jamie loves Wes. He really, truly does. But hiding sucks. It's not the life Jamie envisioned for himself, and the strain of keeping their secret is taking its toll. It doesn't help that his new job isn't going as smoothly as he'd hoped, but he knows he can power through it as long as he has Wes. At least apartment 10B is their retreat, where they can always be themselves.
Or can they? When Wes's nosiest teammate moves in upstairs, the threads of their carefully woven lie begin to unravel. With the outside world determined to take its best shot at them, can Wes and Jamie develop major-league relationship skills on the fly?
Warning: contains sexual situations, a vibrating chair, long-distance sexytimes, and proof that hockey players look hot in any shade of green.

Book Review: 5 stars
“Us” is the sequel to “Him” and features our two sweet guys Jamie and Ryan or Wes. After their happy ending in book one, they are now living together. Like with every normal couple, soon the big, bad wolf named “everyday routine” lurks in the shadows of their beautiful relationship. Is their love strong enough to endure all that…?
I’m normally not a fan of sequels to books that had the ultimate happy ending for me; I just see no point in jeopardizing something that made me happy. But since “Us” is about my favorite gay couple of all times, I had to give it a try. And I’m glad I read it – it showed just how happy their relationship really is, all struggles aside. It warmed my heart and made me feel with them for everything they had to endure to be together. Both men had been shown in a completely different light, it was definitely enlightening and heartwarming to see. Though there is much more to say about this novel, I’d highly recommend to start “Us” as blind as possible. And oh my goodness – Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen can write sex-scenes, they are just as hot as they are tender… Just sayin’ *LOL*
All in all, I rate “Us” with 5 stars and can definitely recommend it. All fans of “Him”: You don’t want to missout on this!!! J And everyone new to this beautiful M/M series: Give it a try, “Him” is a captivating and persuading story about the fact, that you can’t control who you love. Everyone should read it!
