Logan O’Toole is one of the biggest names in the industry and women stand in line to get a chance to work with the hottest porn star in the business. He knows how to deliver, how to get audience captivated and surely how to pleasure a girl. So he seems to have it all, a job that he loves, great reputation and a loving girlfriend by his side. Until he comes home one day and she is gone. No message, no goodbye, no nothing. She just took her things and their puppy and left him without any explanations.
He buries himself in work and lives on autopilot. He is still confused and hurt by Raven’s unexpected exist from their relationship. Logan is starting a new series and the girl he wants to shoot with is Devi Dare. The same girl he and Raven had a threesome shoot 3 years ago. Years might have passed by but his memory of Devi have not. He has secretly desired her ever since and is excited to work with her again.
Is it just work involved or is there something more underneath it all? Could he possibly have feelings for anyone other than Raven? Will Devi be the one who makes him or breaks him all over again?
Sooo… Let me begin with saying how much I love and appreciate these two amazing authors Laurelin Paige and Sierra Simone. They gave us amazing stories and hot book boyfriends to remember for a long long time. Hudson, Reeve and Father Bell will hold their high positions on my favorites list. So it is no secret that I am a huge fan of their solo works.
So it was exciting to see how this co-written book was going to be. I liked this book but can’t honestly say that I loved it like I was hoping and expecting that I would. Don’t get me wrong there were plenty of moments that had me turning page after page and craving for more. The way Logan’s and Devi’s relationship was growing and all the sexual tension was well written and gave me that sweet cute feeling with a nudge of steamy sexy parts. And even the way porn industry was described was pretty decent (not that I would know much about it anyway). It held a message in there about rising awareness about being cautious and understand the rules of the game.
Beside that there is not much more I have to say really. I was missing the IT factor, that deepness that gets to my heart and mind. This is the first co-written book by Sierra Simone and I have read several other works from Laurelin Paige with other authors and I can clearly see the difference in writing when they work with someone else from their solo works. And I think I will just try to stick with one author at the time per book.
