Consolation audiobook review: 5+ stars!

A love story filled with so many emotions it turns your world upside down.

Nathalie has a picture perfect life. A husband who adores her and a baby on the way. All was like a fairy story until the day everything crashed and burned to ashes. The life she knew turned into a living nightmare. Her husband was killed on a mission and she is now all alone.

Liam is her husband’s best friend and he has set his own life aside in order to help Nathalie with everything she needs while she is coping with the biggest loss of her life. He is hurting as well, he lost his best friend and don’t know how to cope with it himself.

The more time they spent together the closer they got. Suddenly all the helping grows into something bigger. Something that neither of them was counting on.

WOW.  I was so blown away with this story that had me captivated from the start. Sure some parts of it were predictable but it didn’t reduced my pleasure while listening to this book. And other parts wouldn’t have been know if I didn’t made that mistake of reading Defenseless before this one *Mentally slapping myself*

This was so well written with such a class over this delicate subject that some might find as very sensitive and touchy. Heartbreaking story that will leave no one untouched. Unexpected desire and love comes to life and deal with inner battles of what is right or wrong. I loved Liam’s way to deal with his feelings for Nathalie and likewise. They fought themselves over it even if there was no need for it. Love will and should ALWAYS conquer all obstacles.

Looking forward to see how their story continues after the cliffhanger that this book provided. *Pressing play on book 2*

Narrators for this installment were the infamous Andy Arndt and Sebastian York. Two people of my top 3 favorite female/male narrators :) These two can just keep saying chapter 1, chapter 2, chapter 3 and I will rate it with 10 stars!!! They are just amazingly great at what they do and I hope to God they never ever stop, because when that day comes my heart will break and never heal properly again.

Andy puts all her heart and soul into every character she does. Her whole demeanor transforms and she basically becomes that person in the story. Do I really need to say anything about Sebastian? I mean really if you aren’t familiar with his work you must have been living under a rock, somewhere long away from any civilization possible. God has gifted him with a voice many man would kill for and many women would listen to 24/7 myself included in that group 😉

Conviction audiobook review:5+ stars!

Perfectly written. Perfectly narrated. Just PERFECT.

Nathalie has finally moved on from the heart wrenching loss of her husband Aaron. She found love and comfort in Liam, Aaron’s best friend who fell in love with Nathalie while trying to help her pick up the broken pieces. They were starting a new life together with lovely baby Arabelle. This was supposed to be their happy ending, but their happiness had to step aside when it turned out that Aaron wasn’t dead. He was captured by terrorists and held captive all this time. Now he is back. Back to his life he was robbed of. One woman. Two men. Two kind of loves for them both.

Neither one of the men is ready to surrender. Both will fight for her. Fight for her love and her heart.

To say that I loved this book will not come close to the truth. It was a page turner or in my case I listened to it where ever I went or whatever I was doing. Everything fell in its place in this book. It had everything that defines a GREAT read for me. Is has suspense, tension, love, heartache, fear and comedy elements. It wasn’t all just about romance and sexy steamy moments with alpha males and weak female characters that need someone to save the day.

I loved how not only the men but even women in this story were described and how strong they stood their grounds. How far they would go for the people and life they love and deserve. They made their own happy endings.

There were so many aspects and real life situation that people are dealing with on a daily basis. Somehow through this book there are several messages sent out to the readers if you pay attention. I personally could relate to some of them and they hit me hard and opened my eyes on how much we should appreciate each other and always show our love. If I could chose any SEAL I would always be LIAM!!!

TEAM: DREAMBOUT – FOREVER 😉

Andi Arndt and Sebastian York did an amazing job….AGAIN. I really don’t know what to say about these two Andi unparticular because she narrated 90% of the book. I am starting to sound like a broken record that keeps repeating itself. They did better than great, made this book more alive for me and I loved every second of it and will re-listen in a very near future again. They are born to spend their talents on narrating books and bring them to life.

WONDERFUL – BEAUTIFUL – AMAZING

A MUST READ!
