I have been waiting for this book since the first time I saw the cover and teasers. So when I got my hands on it I was fan-girling like never before, my hubs thought I’ve lost it.
Mark Dixon ex- Navy Seal hunting for answers what is happening to him and his team mates. Who is behind all the bad deadly things happening to them and who is targeting their company? Charlie is a CIA operative who was undercover for so long she started to lose herself while chasing for the person who was responsible for her father’s death.
Their ways cross and sparks are evidently flying all over the place. Mark has set his eyes on Charlie and he is not letting her runaway for more than one reason. Charlie is not open for anything else than searching for revenge but destiny has other plans for them.
This book has it ALL! There is mystery, secrets, intelligence, suspense, hot and steamy moments everything! After only 4 minutes into this audiobook I was SOLD!!! My heart loves a good NAVY SEAL book, and this one was not good it was GREAT! Charlie is intelligent woman who stands strong on her own two feet and is more than capable of taking care of herself. I enjoyed the bickering between her and Mark. He was full of himself and was so sure that his charm was all it took to get her. It was refreshing to read this amazing story with so much depth and quality. No filthy rich billionaires who are broken in some way and looking for a girl who will heal them.
There was one BIG mistake with this read for me. And by the time I realized what it was, it was too late. This is book 5 in the SEAL series and I read it first 
So this kind put some spoilers when I picked up the rest of Corinne’s books.
Andy Arndt made this book even better for me. The woman can do no wrong. Thank God she decided to have this for a job because I am enjoying every book she does. Zachary Webber was a co- narrator on this book and their voices melted perfectly together. It was a great choice to have this duo for this story.
