A perfectly orchestrated ending to a perfect and beautiful story.
Michael Sloan, the oldest sibling in the Sloan family is fighting the demons from his past. Trying to cope with the loss of their father still to the day even after 18 years from his murder. Fighting to forget the love of his life, his dear Annalise that was once his present, his future, his all. He is doing his best to go on with his life like he is on autopilot. Well…. Here we are…. At the end of another amazing series from talented Lauren Blakely! I have mixed feelings about this last book. In one way I was craving it like my next breathe to get to the point with this intense mysterious story about murder, hidden agendas, new siblings appearing. It is no secret that I have ZERO PATIENCE and wanted to find out all the answers at once. So that thought followed me through reading and hung above my head like a dark cloud waiting for sun to come out and chase the dark thoughts away.
It was lovely to finally meet Michael who captured my interest since book 1 Sweet Sinful Nights. I was very happy to see how he felt and what his thoughts were on different matters. He really deserved what happened to him in this book ( Ok ALMOST everything) and he truly is a very romantic sexy man that knows how to treat a woman and offer her his heart and soul along with his body.
I am very pleased how this book wrapped up this great series and how it showed us that family is what matters the most and should be held highest above all other things. The feeling of love consumed me from reading about these amazingly loveable characters and how much love and devotion they had for one another. How strong they stood their ground and never let their sorrows and fears break them but make them even stronger than before. One other thing that I loved and appreciated was how Lauren managed to involve other characters from her other books in this series and how well it all fell into place and that just shows once again how much experience and talent this woman has and she can do no wrong by me.
I will remember them all forever and keep safe in my heart and I can honestly say that I have learned something from each and every one of them.

Michael and Annalise’s book was a story of second-chance love. There’s was not the ordinary “love gone wrong” type of story, no there’s was of distance and time. As teenagers they were each other’s first loves and unfortunately, distance (Annalise lives in France and Michael lives in Las Vegas) and circumstances dampened their possibilities of continuing their relationship. They tried to keep the flame burning through letters and phone calls, but that proved to be futile. Now, 18 years later, Annalise is back in Vegas for work and has reached out to Michael to reconnect. Much has changed for both of these characters, so through the test of time, distance and life in general, will they be able to find that love they once had? Michael has NEVER forgotten his one and only true love and because of that has never fully moved on, but Annalise did “move on” so to speak, and had a life of her own…she was married and is now widowed because of that, she is fearful of opening her heart to another, but the pull to Michael is irresistible and these two once again find themselves falling for each other. Will Michael be able to live with the ghost of her dead husband? Will Annalise be able to open her heart up to the possibility of losing ANOTHER loved one? Read to find out!
SINFUL LOVE was the perfect closure to this series. I was patiently (not so patiently) waiting for Michael’s story. His character intrigued me from the start…overly protective big brother that was solely focused on protecting his younger siblings and finding justice for his father’s murder. But you could tell, in the glimpses that Lauren Blakely gave us of his character, that there was something in his past preventing him from opening his heart up to anyone, but his family…whom and what were those circumstances that made him the man he appears to be today? That’s what I was curious to know and in SINFUL LOVE we figure out just that…a woman named Annalise was the core to his whole world.
This series was not only about siblings finding love, but it also had a mystery in the plot…WHO KILLED THEIR DAD (Thomas) and WHY? Well, we finally get all of our questions answered. In between Michael and Annalise rekindling the flames, we find out the real motives and reasons behind Thomas’ murder. Lauren changes things up a little in this book and gives us multiple POV’s. Not only do we get Michael’s and Annalise’s POV’s, we also get Dora’s (the Sloan kids mother), Thomas’ (the Sloan kids father), Sanders (one of Thomas’ best friends), John’s (the detective), Colin’s (one of Michael’s brothers), and some others…I don’t want to mention because that would be a spoiler 😉
I loved how Lauren wrapped up all the characters stories at the end of SINFUL LOVE. It made it feel like a more complete “happily ever after”. It was bittersweet to have these characters stories end, but what a beautiful ending it was <3

Sinful Love is the perfect conclusion for Sinful Nights Series. Now all the Sloan siblings have their HEA and the case is closed. YES!! The case is closed! Phew!! And Lauren didn’t leave anything without an answer. She’s a genius because even little details said in Sweet Sinful Nights, Sinful Desire and Sinful Longing that I didn’t imagine would be important for the case, were brought to light and everything helped to solve the biggest mystery in the history of books! I’m in awe! I’m speechless! It was perfect. And of course, the romantic side of this book was very much needed to help solve the case. In fact, without Michael and Annalise’s love story, this case wouldn’t have been solved and finally closed.
I will not say much about the story, for a reason Lauren has had Michael in the mysterious side. In the previous books she showed the big brother, the protective one, the one who wasn’t able to forgive his mother. Michael was also a lonely heart. He had a past that kept him guarded from having a real relationship. His What-If girl was always in his mind. And all this facts always kept me very interested in this beautiful and perfect character. What I can tell, without giving away any detail of the development of this story is that Michael has the biggest heart of all the Sloan siblings, he loves with everything he has, he protects the people he loves at all cost and he never forgets. I’m sure everyone will love Michael, Annalise and Sinful Love as much as I did.
Thank you Lauren for this amazing series, for the tears, the laughter, the intensity. For the love, the passion, and above all, for your perfect plotting mind that created one of the most amazing series I’ve ever read.
