Being engaged to Alex Waters, team captain and the highest paid NHL player in the league, is awesome. How could it not be?

In addition to being an amazing hockey player, he’s an incurable romantic with an XL heart, and an XXL hockey stick in his pants. And he knows how to use it. Incredibly, orgasmically well. Alex is the whole package and more. Literally. Like his package is insane. Total world record holder material.

So it makes complete sense that Violet Hall can’t wait to nail him down to the matrimonial mattress and become Mrs. Violet Waters.
It’s so romantic.

Violet is totally stoked to set a date.

Eventually. At some point. Likely before the next millennium. Or when Violet stops getting hives every time someone brings up the wedding, and their mothers stop colluding on stadium sized venues. Whichever comes first.

Jenn’s Review: 10 stars good enough? :)

Pucked (Book 1) must be read before Forever Pucked, but I highly recommend you to read all books in correct order (Pucked, Pucked Up, Pucked Over, Forever Pucked) to get to know all these amazing characters as well as possible because trust me once you do…. They will stay with you forever.

Alex Waters and Violet Hall are back…. and with capital B in BACK. This is the story about their happily ever after and the crazy and fun way there. It is finally WEDDING time and everyone is excited about it especially their mothers. Alex is still this insanely hot and desirable hockey guy, captain of his team that makes the ladies swoon over him (myself included) but he is having some struggling going on the ice and that bothers him and he is trying to find a way to get pass those issues and game up his play.

Meanwhile Violet wants to move up with her own carrier and not just be a “hockey wife waiting at home” and she kicks ass while doing so. She got her hands on some crazy big account and is really happy and excited about it. There are some troubles in paradise when Alex expresses his wish that Violet could stop working or at least downsize it and do it from home.

A great story always comes with some drama in its plot, so does Forever Pucked. There is a game…there is tension on ice…there is one unpredictable move. A move that will shake us all and Violet in particular and that is the moment she realizes what is the most important to her and she will stand her ground and fight for it with all her power.

Every single time I read a new book from HH, I say to myself WOW this is it…this one rocked my world. And that just isn’t the whole truth…Then she goes and writes another piece of perfection and crawls deeper and deeper into my heart. This book was no exception and I waited and longed for it since the announcement was made and when I finally got it in my hands I was hesitant in starting to read it. I am not quite ready to let go and be done with this incredible group of people that hold a very special part in my heart.

Alex has consumed my mind completely, so much that for a moment there I pretended to be in Vi’s place and get my groove on with that crazy, fun, sexy man. P.S Don’t tell Vi that, she would probably de-beaver me before I could say the word out loud…HAHA!

Every character in this book has their own spotlight and they shine so bright that you need to shield your eyes from all that loveliness going on.

Of course Alex and Vi are the greatest couple ever, but there are Randy and Lilly, Darren and Charlene, Miller and Sunny and our bachelor Lance who so desperately needs a person to call his own (She is there too, waiting to make her grand re-entrance *wink wink*). But let’s not forget the parents here, Vi and Alex’ moms are rocking in this part in more ways than expected, they sure made me laugh time after time.

I must say my love and interest for Lance grew much more than I would ever imagine in this story.
He kicked ass…. in more ways than one:) That one particular kicking made him move up higher and higher on my top-list. I was literally screaming out loud and routing for him as if I was there and the situation in question was real, but for me it was :)

This made me laugh as always, made me feel trembles and fear in my heart, made me hot and swoon over the MC-Beaver moments ( Kitchen island *sighing*) and made me cry but those were tears of happiness and I would gladly do it all again!

Now I can only hope and hope some more that Darren and Lance will get their own books sooner than later and then my heart will be satisfied… I think 😉 Their stories were dangling right in front of us in this book and you just get the feeling to get in there and find out more and more about them. I seriously developed a new craving for these two, there is so much more to find out and enjoy about them and I can’t wait for that day to come.

Thank you once again Helena Hunting for unleashing your talent and putting in into print and sharing it with us. For your way of always managing to write as flawlessly and joyfully as ever.

I will forever be grateful for coming across you and your books. They rocked my world….ALL of them!
