Perfect ass.

Perfect arms.

Perfect swagger.

They call Dash Wallace the Diamond King.

He’s the hottest commodity in baseball and in the bedroom.

When he runs the bases, every woman’s eyes are glued to his stunning body and a smile that puts the night lights to shame.

I’m no queen. I’m a regular girl with a regular job. I just watch him on TV and from the bleachers, season after season.

Girls like me grab a guy like that one in a million times.

My number just came up, and he is as spectacular in bed as he is on the field.

But there’s not a woman in the world who can distract Dash Wallace from the game. Not for a moment. Not even me.

Until the night I do. And everything changes.

”I wanted his soul inside me, a melding of skin where we touched, an unbroken circle of pulsing attention and awareness.”

There is no doubt, absolutely no doubt that CD Reiss has a way with words, is unexplainable yet gorgeous, enthralling and powerfully romantic. Her words don’t just pull you in, no, they suck you in completely. I felt trapped in the beauty of this book and there is no better feeling that to feel owned by a book.

Hard Ball was a little bit different I’ll say because I wasn’t all emotions and tears only, I laughed and I liked what the little humor between some chapters did to the book in all its seriousness. Definitely one of my favorites and must read this year. Sports romance at its finest.

Vivian and Dashiell felt like a romantic force within each page of the book. There was only perfection in both of their povs. One of the things I feel a sports romance must have is both povs because at least I want to read the highs and lows of the sport and how our hero reacts to them. We go a little beyond that with Dashiell and it was fascinating and beautiful getting inside his head. I didn’t wanted to leave.

”I was a small man in a big world. A fool and a fraud. A gambler whose luck had run out. I was a meaningless ball of thoughts and fears with no control over the way my life unfurled.
But with her, I wasn’t afraid.”

We have two people so perfect for each other but at the same time so complex i felt like crying, I wanted to slap sense into both of them at the same time I wanted to just hug them and somehow that made me fall in love with both Dashiell and Vivian even more. They felt, i felt.

”I love you. I’ve never loved another woman. I was waiting for you and i didn’t even know it.”

A sport romance you won’t want to miss and if baseball man are your favorite even more. You’ll fall in love with Vivian and Dash in a heartbeat. Drop everything and grab it now! A classic by CD Reiss.
