Alex and Violet are back! And that makes me so happy. It was great reading about them in the other books of the series, but having the two of them back, in their own story again, is simply the best.
I’m gonna make a top 10 countdown of the things that made this book as pucking perfect as it is.
#10 The hockey scenes. I am not a sports girl, so when I’m reading a sport scene I usually zone out because I don’t understand much. But Helena writes them so perfectly. I was 100% interested in each one. Also…. DRAMA ALERT!!
#9 The crazy family dynamic. Violet’s and Alex’s parents, more specifically their mothers, almost drove them crazy. But I loved every moment with them. I couldn’t stop laughing at their topics of conversation.
#8 Darren and Charlene. They have more appearances in this book and I loved getting to know them better. I can’t wait for their book— Helena, you’ll have to write their HEA!
#7 Charlene and her dirty secret! I know she has a huge and dirty secret and I can’t wait to know about it. #BookGirlfriendAlert
#6 Lily and Randy. They are perfect. Simply perfect! And they are like bunnies! *chuckes*
#5 The Yeti couple! Miller and Sunny are as cute as always and they have one big part in this book! I can’t wait for everyone to read it. *excited*
#4 BROMANCE! Alex and Darren have a great friendship, always having their backs and all, and I was expecting to read more about their bromance in this book. But…. one unexpected bromance happened! #Lanclex! Oh yeah, baby! Lance and Alex’s friendship got stronger in this book and I LOVED IT!
#3 Lance Romance. Oh. My. God. I am in love with this man. He is the hero in this book. I can’t wait for Helena to write his story. I need to be inside his head and know every single thought that make him so awesome. #BookBoyfriendAlert
#2 Queen Violet! Oh yes, she is Queen for sure. Even in the books she wasn’t main character, she always had her spotlight with her beaver wisdom. I simply love her. #BookGirlfriendAlert
