This is a stand-alone novel that includes graphic content and a HEA.

Rock bottom has just made a new friend: Janet Raeven. Unemployed and recently divorced from her abusive husband, she’s trying to get her life back in order. Despite her mother’s insistence that a man can cure her of all her problems, she knows that’s the last thing she needs right now.

Enter multi-millionaire Hayden Lancaster. He’s hot. He’s charming. And everything about him turns her on. Her attempts at fighting her attraction to him fail miserably. She can’t get him off her mind, and she’s having a hard time keeping her clothes on when he’s around. As she submits to her attraction, he draws her into his over-the-top lifestyle of fancy cars, lavish parties, and exotic vacations. But along with this lifestyle comes a long list of exes and one-night-stands. Janet can’t compete with these models, beauty queens, and heiresses, and the more she encounters, the more it seems Hayden is luring her into his life so that she can end up just another ex-lover. He claims she means more to him than the others, but if this is a game, she’s losing, and this defeat might just be too much for her to handle.

book review: 4 stars!!

“Hope. That’s what I need right now.”

This book proved to be more beautiful and above any of my expectations. It plainly burned every one of it to the ground! The blurb just gives you a very generic view of the story, but when you get to read it you can’t but love it.

Every Time I Fall is the second book in The Raeven Sisters series and tells the story of Janet Raeven who finds her true love and other half on the face of the hot mutli-millionaire, Hayden Lancaster. Their first meeting was during a group “therapy” and since then they started getting closer and closer. Actually, Hayden was the one who pulled the trigger of what these two would end up meaning and being to each other. And getting to read it was definitely amazing.

Also, Hayden may be the hot BBF of this book, but, for me, the character that held more interest and was intriguing me the most was Janet. Karington has written her in such way that the complicated thought process of hers, the way she’s swinging between her mind’s thoughts and the way she’s acting, are what made loved this book even more. She is a  woman with a very traumatized past from which she didn’t know how to escape and move on with her life. And maybe she didn’t know at that time, but Hayden was more than the love of her life and partner. He was her savior! The many difficulties and temporary obstacles that these two have to go through so they end up happy, make them even stronger, ties them with a bond very deep and get them to realize that the happiness lies where you follow your heart instead of giving in to your fears.

When he’s inside me, taking me, it’s as if he’s healing deep wounds within my soul.

A love with a plot which blew my mind and always gave the characters the chance and the proper setting to develop their characteristics to a very high level – if not fully -, so they could take the story even higher. Each one of them was a essential part of it and with who it couldn’t do without. Also, each one helps, with one way or another, Hayden and Janet to come closer and, little by little, to not only get to know their own self but also what they are when in each other’s arms and life.

A book that guarantees the fast heart-beat and the swooning. If you love both and are of the things you look for in a book, then Every Time I Fall is definitely for you. Anna Karington’s story-unfolding will make you fall in love with everything the story has and will captivate you to the end. It’s definitely worth the try and the time.
