Sidebarred was magical!!!! Sustained was my favorite book of the Legal Briefs series, so having the conclusion of the series being a novella with JAKE, CHELSEA AND THE KIDS was pure heaven for me.
Sidebarred takes place a few years later after Jake and Chelsea marry. They are living their own kind of happily ever after. I don’t know how to explain it but Jake’s world is still upside down but now in the sweetest way. BOTH Jake and Chelsea are heroes, Every day they seek not only their happiness but also the kids happiness. Is the perfect conclusion to a perfect series. I wouldn’t had it any other way, we needed Jake to put the perfect ending to the series.
This novella was a treat for lovers of SUSTAINED but also we get a little insight on the other characters like Stanton, Sofia, Brent and Kennedy. So if you’re a lover of this fantastic series you can’t miss Sidebarred. Emma Chase perfects the male’s pov.
