Oh.My.Lord.ALL.Mighty!!!
That scene with Drake, Manuel and Evangeline was so hot I had to pause a few times to get through it. It was PERFECTION!!!!!
Drake Donovan is a man who had it ALL. And yet he managed to scare away the only thing that mattered, the only person he cared for. He will turn the whole world upside down to find her again and make her see the truth.
Evangeline thought she had found her dream man, but she was mistaken. She will never be able to forget that dreadful night. The way he treated her and how humiliated she was.

This is book 2 in The Enforcer Series and continuation of Drake’s and Evangeline’s story from book 1 Mastered. That book ended with one of the hardest and emotional cliffs I have ever read. It destroyed me so bad I could barely breathe and I was a wreck for days afterwards. So when Dominated finally landed on my kindle I couldn’t wait to start reading and go back to their story and see how all that mess resolved. First few chapters took away every breath I had. I was so excited and satisfied I could barely breathe how happy I was even if my heart was breaking by reading how they both suffered. I guess I am a masochist that way 😉 I was even getting goose bumps all over from satisfaction and joy.
And after those beautiful chapters the pace slowed down and the same thing kept repeating over and over again. I honestly felt like going in circles and was wondering if I would ever find my way out. At times it felt like it was someone’s debut novel and kind of mediocre.
And later towards the end in the last chapters, the heat was on again! I loved that part but would have wished that there was a red line through the whole book without high and low dips.
Another thing I really LOVED in this and previous book was the relationship and closeness of Drake’s men and how loyal and protective they all were.
