It's all fun and parties until someone falls in love in this modern fairy tale from author Kate Evangelista.

Caleb desperately needs a fake girlfriend. Either he attends a series of parties for his father’s law firm with a pretty girl on his arm, or he gets shipped off to Yale to start a future he’s not ready for and isn’t sure he wants. And sadly, the last unattached girl in his social circle has just made the grievous mistake of falling in love with him. Fortunately, Didi, recently fired waitress and aspiring painter, is open to new experiences. As the summer ticks by in a whirl of lavish parties, there’s only one rule: They must not fall in love!

Book Review: 3,5 Stars

No Love Allowed is perfect for young adult readers who are looking for a short and entertained romance that has a lot of sass and fun moments. This story is about a summer fake relationship between Caleb and Didi, with one rule over everything- She is not allowed to fall in love with him. In this story we have one of the main characters with a mental illness, a very likable girl full of joy that even when her life is pretty difficult, she still remains positive. I liked the way it was introduced the mental health awareness without making this fact the main focus of the story. Both of them are feisty and I think this get more interest from the reader to know how their relationship will develop. The ending was good I really liked it, and we got a few twists that I didn’t expect. It has a ‘happily ever after’ just a little cheesy, but Didi and Caleb deserved it after what they’d been through. I enjoyed the story. It was just short, sweet and swoon Read.
