The first time I met Chase Parker, I didn’t exactly make a good impression.
I was hiding in the bathroom hallway of a restaurant, leaving a message for my best friend to save me from my awful date.
He overheard and told me I was a bitch, then proceeded to offer me some dating advice.
So I told him to mind his own damn business—his own tall, gorgeous, full-of-himself damn business—and went back to my miserable date.
When he walked by my table, he smirked, and I watched his arrogant, sexy ass walk back to his date.
I couldn’t help but sneak hidden glances at the condescending jerk on the other side of the room. Of course, he caught me on more than one occasion, and winked.
When the gorgeous stranger and his equally hot date suddenly appeared at our table, I thought he was going to rat me out.
But instead, he pretended we knew each other and joined us—telling elaborate, embarrassing stories about our fake childhood.
My date suddenly went from boring to bizarrely exciting.
When it was over and we parted ways, I thought about him more than I would ever admit, even though I knew I’d never see him again.
I mean, what were the chances I’d run into him again in a city with eight million people?
Then again…
What were the chances a month later he’d wind up being my new sexy boss?

I can’t believe it’s over! I love love LOVE this book!!! Can you blame me? Just look the alluring, hot, sexy cover and read the fascinating blurb, that alone will make you read it as soon as it is in your hands!

Now I am 200% sure that I have a thing for CEOs! Each time I read about one, it’s hard for me to put the book down and if we add Vi Keeland’s spectacular writing and the captivating story she gifted us, that makes this book a special one. BOSSMAN is the kind of book I love. It has amazing characters and a lovely storyline that make my heart melt, which makes for a heart-warming read <3

BOSSMAN starts out with Reese Annesley on a “blind date” and it’s not going well. In a last ditch effort, she excuses herself to “use” the restroom, when in reality she was calling her BFF to vent to her about her failure of a blind date and to ask her to fake an emergency call, so she can leave. Unfortunately, she couldn’t reach her, so she left a voicemail with the accounts of everything that was going wrong. Unsuspecting, she blabbed all her issues with her current situation in front of a complete (hot) stranger, whom was listening in on her message to her BFF. This insanely hot stranger gives her a hard time about her failed date and then leaves her stammering, to go back to his date. After her awkward encounter with the stranger in the restroom, she decides to go back to her boring date. But after returning to her seat, she finds herself seeking out for this mysterious guy and finally spots him across the restaurant staring at her. The attraction is undeniable! Chase Parker (the sexy stranger), as he already knew she was suffering with her date, approached her table to save the night.

There will be a couple of random & hilarious encounters between them after that night, one of them involves Chase all wet and offering help her to find a new job. But what happens when Chase becomes Reese’s “bossman”? Reese doesn’t want to have an affair at the office, but this won’t stop Chase from “chasing” her.

I love how the story develops. The slow burn between Chase and Reese was written perfectly. I LOVED the banter between these two characters. They are perfect for each other. I enjoyed EVERY single page of this book. I had a constant smile on my face while reading it. Don’t be fooled by the cover, yeah *drool over it*, but this story is not only about sexiness, it is about making choices, about getting over your fears and forgiving yourself.

I don’t typically rate different aspects of the book separately, but Chase Parker deserves a 5 star himself! He’s definitely on my top book boyfriend list. He is the perfect BBF…he’s caring, loving, cocky and very confident as well. He doesn’t accept “NO” for an answer, so he will persist until he gets what he wants. And Reese is what he wants. *swoon*

Sadly, this book is a standalone and I can’t have more of him, but I assure you, you will enjoy this story as much as I did!
