New York Times bestselling author Joanna Wylde returns to the “wild and raw”* world of the Reapers MC with the story of Gage and Tinker…

The club comes first.

I’ve lived by those words my whole life—assumed I’d die by them, too, and I never had a problem with that. My Reaper brothers took my back and I took theirs and it was enough. Then I met her. Tinker Garrett. She’s beautiful, she’s loyal, and she works so damned hard it scares me sometimes . . . She deserves a good man—one better than me. I can’t take her yet because the club still needs me. There’s another woman, another job, another fight just ahead.

Now she’ll learn I’ve been lying to her all along. None of it’s real. Not my name, not my job, not even the clothes I wear. She thinks I’m nice. She pretends we’re just friends, that I’ve still got a soul . . . Mine’s been dead for years. Now I’m on fire for this woman, and a man can only burn for so long before he destroys everything around him.

I’m coming for you, Tinker.

Soon.

A year ago, if someone would have told me that I’d be reading books about bikers, I wouldn’t have believed them. I didn’t understand the appeal and obsession that others seemed to have with these “biker” books, but that was before I had read Joanna’s MC novels. After reading them, my error in thinking they were “just biker” books became glaringly obvious. They became so much more than that to me and ever since reading them, I have this obsession (that everyone else seems to have) with Joanna’s MC novels and now I find myself patiently (not so patiently) waiting for her next book.

This is the story of Gage from the REAPERS MC series. I first met him while I was reading Painter’s book, REAPER’S FALL (Reaper’s MC #5). I learned about his fierce loyalty to the club back then. “The club comes first”. In this book, Gage is on duty, he volunteered to go undercover in Hallies Falls, so he can be inside the local MC. In order to infiltrate, he has to fake his identity as “Cooper Romero” and he will have to be Talia Jackson’s man (she is the sister of the head of the MC). Now Gage will have to choose between his club or the woman he wants.

Tinker Garrett (my new favorite heroine) has a lot to deal with: her douche ex-husband, her father’’s illness and an undeserved bad reputation. Moreover, she now has to deal with her sexy handyman’s skank girlfriend. She just hired Cooper Romero as her handyman to help her with the maintenance of her house. Since he works for her, she offered him to live in one of the apartments she rents. The chemistry between them is like fire! They fell for each other instantly, but they have a lot of obstacles. Gage must tell Tinker the truth if he wants to be with her, but if he reveals his true motivations, he can compromise his undercover status and put his club at risk. All these obstacles are keeping these two from having any type of future.

If you’re looking for an intriguing story that has well-developed characters and is packed full of sexy, funny, and gut wrenching moments that will keep you interested until the last page, then this book is for you!

I can’t wait to read more of our favorite bikers!
