She’s good at achieving her goals…

College senior Sabrina James has her whole future planned out: graduate from college, kick butt in law school, and land a high-paying job at a cutthroat firm. Her path to escaping her shameful past certainly doesn’t include a gorgeous hockey player who believes in love at first sight. One night of sizzling heat and surprising tenderness is all she’s willing to give John Tucker, but sometimes, one night is all it takes for your entire life to change.

But the game just got a whole lot more complicated

Tucker believes being a team player is as important as being the star. On the ice, he’s fine staying out of the spotlight, but when it comes to becoming a daddy at the age of twenty-two, he refuses to be a bench warmer. It doesn’t hurt that the soon-to-be mother of his child is beautiful, whip-smart, and keeps him on his toes. The problem is, Sabrina’s heart is locked up tight, and the fiery brunette is too stubborn to accept his help. If he wants a life with the woman of his dreams, he’ll have to convince her that some goals can only be made with an assist.

Sasha’s Review: 5++ Stars

‘’My goal, once upon a time, was to succeed. I didn’t realize that success wasn’t grades or scholarships or achievements, but people i was lucky enough to have in my life.’’

OHMYGOODNESS! WHAT A BOOK. The Goal is officially my ALL TIME FAVORITE from the Off-Campus series. I LOVE LOVE LOOOOOVED this book. I adore what Kennedy did to this story. It was a complex story to be honest with a complex heroine and a more than incredible hero. Let me tell you, at first Sabrina won’t be everyone’s favorite heroine but as the story unfolds you’ll understand so many things. At first i wanted to slap some sense into her but then i just really wanted to hug her. If you think this story is fast paced and funny, is really not. At least for me The Goal is life changing, beautiful, and heartwarming. The best Off-Campus book.

If you have read Dean’s book, The Score, then you know what to expect for Tuck’s book. The thing is The Goal doesn’t start off with the confession, it takes us all the way back to first time Tuck and Sabrina met. And if you are new to the series, then it can be read as a standalone. Elle Kennedy did such a great job with this story, i really just can’t shut up about it. A woman that closed the door to love and the only thing on her mind was success, then she comes crashing into a man who simply was too good to be true. Sometimes i just couldn’t believe it. Tuck is one of those heroes you have a deep a connection with and you sort of get jealous of the heroine.

Tuck and Sabrina had an amazing chemistry, their love was unique, sexy and beautiful. Tuck was such a capable man. Sweet, funny and damn hot but more than that he was a guy with a golden heart. Sabrina is struggling with her daily life and when Tuck comes barging in into her plans her life flips upside down. While is a plot we might have read already, the story is so well written is impossible to put it down.

I CAN’T RECOMMEND THIS BOOK HIGHLY ENOUGH. I really want everyone to read this book. A book about life and its struggles, love and fate. Add in a dose of humor and sexiness and is one of the best books this year.

Ralou’s Review: 5++++ stars!!!!

“Do you believe in love at first sight?”

Every person who has read the series and especially the third one, The Score, remembers – and honestly who can forget – that phenomenal epilogue with its horrible “Tucker” cliffhanger. My jaw was one with the floor for almost a week since I couldn’t wrap my head around what was happening. And now that I finally got to read this story that has “nail-biting anticipation” written all over it, I have to say this: “Garrett, Logan and Dean, I apologize but Tuck just bested you by a few points and claimed the first place in my heart’s Off Campus part.

The Goal is the latest – and hope not the last- installment in the Off-Campus series with the hot, gold-hearted, irresistible hockey players and their women as its stars. After we experienced Garrett, Logan and Dean give their all in their stories, now we get to finally discover the mystery behind Tucker’s behavior and admission at Dean’s finale. But I could never imagine all this magnificent, intense, deep plot Elle Kennedy came up with for this male. And may my mind be still a bit numb from the how hard it made me fall for it, though I’ll try my best to describe every little thing it made me feel.

At first, I have to give my most sincere congratulations to Kennedy for writing two of the most intriguing and life-changing characters I have ever met. Tucker and Sabrina are two people with completely different ways of dealing with life and emotional baggage. But the thing is that where the one is lacking, the other comes and fills that gab making them an incredible, powerful whole. The most of the time that gab-filling isn’t always easy and can be quite frustrating – as everything in life is- but that what makes both of them stronger and us the addicted readers…… more addicted. The journey these two take, and along with them we too, is one that neither can be forgotten nor can be given up. Both of their hearts have found their other half, giving their minds, fears and hold backs the middle finger and plus, Life has given them a link to each other which can never been broken or sacrificed. They started their story unorthodox; they continued dynamically and challengingly; they had a finale priceless and like no other.

“Girl, this man is all in.”

John Tucker and Sabrina James are a couple that captivates you from the start hence that I finished the book in one sitting. I was so zoned out into it that it never occurred to me to put it down even to go to sleep. The minute I got the ARC in my phone, it went downhill from there. I remember reaching 8am without realizing and then think: “F*ck it! This is too good to put down than go to sleep! Here I come again, people!“. With each chapter, I was falling more and more in love with them and through the challenges their love kept growing powerful. The Goal is without doubt, not only the best out of the 4 of the series, but also one of the best I have read this year! It really has it all: passion, steaminess, heart break, anger, frustration, joy, swooning and so many many others. It’s pure perfection! That’s the only way to describe it! As long as I finished it I wanted to start it all over again because I didn’t for it to end. Once a goner, always a goner…… 😉

Elle Kennedy, she didn’t just did a great job with this one; she FREAKING. ROCKED. IT! She put her all in in and delivered a priceless gem, a magnificent addition to its series and a love story far better than anyone of us could ever imagine. She gave Tuck and Sabrina the best life and the one they most definitely deserved and took us to a mighty fine walk over the rainbow. Both the series and the book can’t be recommended enough and with more praise. It’s a corner in the contemporary literature that you don’t want to miss visiting. And re-visiting. And re-visiting. Because one read will never enough. You will always come back for a second, third, forth…..n relive of the stories of these gorgeous couples who I don’t let leave my heart and mind. Kennedy’s writing is beyond good and her tendency to twist the things inside her books with a way that has you at the end of your seat, does you completely in. I could easily continue speaking about everything that this book is and how gone I am over Tuck and Sabrina, but I have to shut up since the journey you will take through it will be so much sweeter if I don’t going further.

You definitely don’t want to surpass this series which so many people and my co-bloggers has loved with all their heart! Listen to us and you will not lose! This is a gem on a golden plate! You don’t want to deny a taste before it continues down the table, do you? :p
