Four Letter Word is absolutely stunning and addictive. Daniels charming sexy words will crawl up to your heart and hypnotize you. OMG I LOVE THIS AUTHOR SO DAMN MUCH. She always creates characters that are impossible to forget and so lovable you wish they were real. EVERYTHING this woman writes is brilliant but the Dirty Deeds series is going to be her best work to date! I ADORE IT. I already can’t wait for more. I really hope AAAAAAALL this characters get their own story. I NEED IT.
Sydney is a woman stuck on a loveless marriage and yet she wasn’t ready to quit on her marriage. She has such a beautiful soul *sigh* Her husband ends things the same day her best girl gets her heart broken. Sydney could handle so much emotion before she exploded and who better than the man who broke her best friend heart to turn all that anger to, and he very well deserved it. But it all goes south when she calls the wrong number.
Brian, the man who received all the anger on the other end is absolutely captivated by Sydney fierce and wild attitude. Brian even tho he has some darkness following him can’t stay away from Syd… The rest i’m gonna let you guys figure it out. YOU GUYS NEED TO READ IT.
Brian and Sydney were passionately romantic sexy and enchanting. I love everything about them, about their relationship and even the flaws of it. They were a captivating force of love, they went crashing into each other so beautifully and so fast it will break your heart to end this book. I had such a hard time saying goodbye, good thing is a series and we’ll hear from them again!
Another beautiful thing about this book is the supporting characters!! I fell completely in love with them. You guys know how much i love it when supporting characters shine and make me love them. Now i need all of them to get their happy ending. And i’m gonna go ahead and calls dibs on…. STITCH. HE IS MINE. end of.

The awesomeness and the greatness of this book caught me completely off guard. I surely expected for it to be an amazing book and one that I would love instantly, but never saw what it really turned out to be coming.
Four Letter Word is the first book in the Dirty Deeds series and its heroes are Brian and Sydney. And you want to know how they met? You gonna love it! Trust me!
Well, here’s how everything started; Sydney is married to her high school sweetheart for quite some time. Her best friend is in love with her 6-month relationship. But the moment has come for a drastic and a lifetime change. And its starting point is when first her best friend breaks up with her boyfriend and then Sydney’s husband leaves her. Now both women have to deal with their heartbreak and get back on living their lives. But, first, Sydney has something to do first; to rip her BFF’s ex a new one which will be all his. So, she gets his number – with an impressive way I might add -, calls him and lets him have it. The only problem is that the guy on the other side of the line isn’t the one he was supposed to be.
He was never a choice. He was my fate. My boy.
Brian is a guy with a heart of the purest gold but his life isn’t easy and he has to deal with a lot of stuff which demand some very tough choices. So, when he becomes the guy who receives the angry words from Syd in behalf of her BFF, it’s impossible to forget her wildness, fierceness and her passion. He decides then that, although he might not have been the guy who he deserved her words, he sure as hell was the one with the damn right timing and he has none intention of letting this fascinating and WILD creature slip through his fingers. Besides, TROUBLE and WILD go together, right?
“WILD” was his four letter word for “love”.
I’m familiar with the “the right wrong-at-that-moment person picking up the phone” concept since I have another story based on that in my READ list. But, this one, is in a whole new level. The connection these two develop is one which every real person can get really jealous of and one many search their whole life, and few find in the end. From their first encounter until their finale, Syd and Brian are two characters with beautiful souls and clean spirits whom Life dealt some very crappy cards before she gave them the Ace. And an Ace indeed! The powerful love that slowly but steady develops between them is undeniable and no one can deny its primal beauty. I was constantly finding myself being highly emotional and vulnerable because of the depth of this story.
“You are a dream, Brian Savage. You are my dream.”
And this may be my first J. Daniels book but I can easily say that she not only became one of my favorite authors, but also one who is going to stay that way. And oh boy, she does have a way with words!! I couldn’t get enough of how fantastic she was unfolding this unique love. And after this, I totally get the love my co-blogger Sasha has for that author. She is incredible! And she gave me teasers and hints about her characters, both first and second, like few authors can. I was swinging back and forth falling in love more with each character she was, little by little, portraying. And that was an addicting journey inside the original addicting journey of Brian and Sydney.
And I know the next book is about Brian and Syd’s BFFs but the one that I will go crazy over reading is undoubtedly the story of STITCH, since I bet all my money that Daniels isn’t going to leave him without one. He is too awesome, fascinating and mysterious to do that and turns us into lakes of drool on the floor.
You seriously DON’T WANT TO MISS this series!!! It’s one that each book addict and reviewer MUST read and experience it to his/er very soul; because that’s far it reaches you!!
